This study is aimed to find out how the journey of madrasah's history from classical to modern times, from middle east to Indonesia, as well as the challenges for the sake of existence. To achieve these objectives, the author uses library research, using written materials that have been published as books and international journals. This study uses a historical approach and science education. The results of this study indicate that growth and development of madrasah's history in Indonesia there are two momentum determines the existence of Madrasah. First, SKB 3 minister in 1975 that became the entrance of madrasah recognition as an islamic educational institution equivalent to public shcools. Second, UU SISDIKNAS no. 2/1989 makes madrasah not only as an educational institution equivalent to public schools, more than that, madrasah is an islamic educational institution or public institution that has islamic characteristic. And well known as a PLUS public school. but on the other hand is also a challange that needs to be evidence, whether madrasah able to assume the dual status.
This article aims to determine the implications that can arise from the dichotomy of science. Namely the emergence of a gap between the source of knowledge in the form of religious knowledge and general knowledge. Proponents of the religious knowledge only consider the divine source valid in the form of scriptures and prophetic traditions and reject non-scriptural sources as an authoritative source to explain true truth. On the other hand, secular scientists only consider valid information obtained through sensory observation. The method used in this study is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data collection was conducted through observation, in-depth interviews, documentation analysis and focused group discussion. This research shows that there is really no sorting of science and religion. The research findings provide an overview of science and the knowledge of religion is integral. If science is addressed with a dichotomy, it will certainly give birth to different thoughts in building world civilization.
This research discusses the development of Western Science, which utters a negative impact in the shaping of society and men as human. The prime factor is the understanding of "Free Value" which is known as the Science of Free Value Morality. The result of the development of this science can not be controlled, which impact to crisis of morality, this research proves that reform and development of scientific traditions must begun from cleaning up epistemology and science must be known culturally.
This research analyzes the issue of religion in understanding multiple realities. So it needs to be explained how religion can be one of the triggers of the problem and eventually become tyrants of other religions or beliefs. The problem that is limited in this study is that it relates to religion which is limited to the reality of conflicts that occur, as long as the conflict is published; both through research and through mass media. Furthermore, this research tries to look at the background of the understanding of diversity that occurs in society, so that it can be explained how it exists in interreligious relations in order to be in line. Religious expression among religious followers can influence patterns of integration and conflict. It will increase and become a trigger for conflict when it relates to the factors of economic and political inequality both locally, nationally, and even the constellation that is originally reasonable in the community, then strengthens and becomes clear, especially in society so that conflicts arise. Social integration can be a conflict resolution if maintained through bonds among citizens and social organizations that cross primordial boundaries.
Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa semakin integritas suatu pembelajaran, maka semakin nasionalis substansi dalam sebuah pendidikan. Derasnya arus globalisasi dikhawatirkan anak berdampak pada terkikisnya rasa kecintaan terhadap budaya lokal. Agar eksistensi budaya lokal tetap kukuh, maka kepada generasi penerus bangsa perlu ditanamkan rasa cinta terhadap budaya daerah untuk menumbuhkan rasa nasionalisme. Nasionalisme adalah suatu konsep identitas bersama untuk sekelompok manusia. Nasionalisme dapat menonjolkan dirinya sebagai bagian paham negara atau gerakan (bukan negara) yang populer berdasarkan pendapat warga negara, etnis, budaya, keagamaan, dan ideologi. Salah satu cara yang dapat ditempuh guru di sekolah adalah dengan cara mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dalam proses pembelajaran Agama Islam di sekolah. Dengan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal ke dalam pembelajaran agama Islam diharapkan nasionalisme siswa akan tetap kukuh terjaga di tengah-tengah derasnya arus globalisasi.. Nasionalisme adalah suatu konsep identitas bersama untuk sekelompok manusia.. Nasionalisme dapat menonjolkan dirinya sebagai bagian paham negara atau gerakan (bukan negara) yang populer berdasarkan pendapat warga negara, etnis, budaya, keagamaan, dan ideologi.
