Purpose This research aimed to observe the gap for improvement in dengue vector control during COVID-19, considering two stakeholders: the government and society. We formulated two research questions: 1) How is the government managing dengue vector control during the COVID-19 pandemic? 2) What is the situation of dengue disease, its vectors, and vector control in the community? Methods This study uses multiple approaches: policy review, social listening using Twitter analysis, and interviews. A policy review was employed to capture the journey of dengue vector control in Indonesia from dengue found in Indonesia until the COVID-19 pandemic. Twitter data captured public opinions through social media about dengue and vector control. Interviews involved program implementers that consider knowing the situation in the field of dengue and its vector control. The informant was selected through purposive sampling. Results To control dengue disease, the Indonesian government has released regulations about dengue vector control that adjusts the COVID-19 situation, but vector control is still not running optimally, resulting in the data supply for policy not running well. Conclusion Dengue cases continued during the COVID-19 pandemic, even in some places stated an outbreak occurred. Vector control does not work correctly during the COVID-19 pandemic due to social restrictions. It is recommended to encourage the implementation of community empowerment through one house, one jumantik, which is equipped with self-reporting to mitigate and respond to similar situations as the pandemic.
Work readiness has an effect on the unemployment rate for Vocational High School (SMK) graduates. Work readiness can be improved by improving learning patterns and tools. This study aims to develop learning aids, test the feasibility and effectiveness of the product. The research design used is the ADDIE Research Development (R&D) design with the stages of Analysis, Design, Development or Production, Implementation or Delivery and Evaluations. The research site is at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Tempel with research subjects of 134 students, 14 teachers of Automotive Engineering Vocational School and 5 automotive industry practitioners. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires and tests with interview research instruments, media and product questionnaires and practice test sheets. Android-based student performance aids (Tunersindro) have a very high feasibility of being used in vocational learning. Abstrak: Internet adalah teknologi yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menghadirkan solusi bagi masalah di warga masyarakat. Keberadaan sebuah sistem informasi diharapkan menjadi jembatan komunikasi sebagai implementasi dari teknologi internet ini. Namun desain sistem informasi yang memudahkan dan pendampingan penerapan sistem informasi yang baik adalah diperlukan untuk meningkatkan minat warga untuk berpartisipasi menggunakan sistem pelaporan konsultasi keluarga. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pengembangan sistem pelaporan layanan konseling keluarga yang memiliki nilai kebergunaan yang di terima. Empat tahapan yang digunakan dalam program ini adalah sosialisasi, pelatihan penggunaan sistem, pengembangan sistem, dan evaluasi penggunaan sistem kepada warga masyarakat dan konselor di Kalurahan Ngalang Kabupaten Gunungkidul yang diwakili oleh 25 orang. Hasil dari pelaksanaan program ini adalah tersedianya sebuah sistem pelaporan konsultasi keluarga yang dialamat di http://lapor.ngalang.id. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi kebergunaan (usability) menunjukkan bawah sistem ini berada dalam tingkatan diterima (acceptable).Abstract: The Internet is a technology to provide solutions for problems in society. The existence of an information system is expected to be a communication bridge as the implementation of this internet technology. However, an information system with a straightforward design and an information system with reasonable implementation assistance is needed to increase citizens' interest in using the family consultation reporting system. This community service program aims to develop a family counseling service reporting system that has accepted usefulness values. The four methods used in this program are socialization, training on the use, development, and evaluation of the use of the system to community members and counselors in Kalurahan Ngalang, Gunungkidul Regency, represented by 25 people. The result of the implementation of this program is the availability of a family consultation reporting system addressed at http://lapor.ngalang.id. Based on the results of the usability evaluation shows that this system is at an acceptable level.
The employability of students is an essential factor that every school must consider. This study aims to test the validity and reliability of the employability scale construct, determine the contribution of each aspect and indicator in reflecting employability variables, and test whether the theoretical model of employability fits with empirical data. Employability is measured by four aspects, namely skills, knowledge, understanding, and personality attributes. The subjects in this study were 372 students of State Vocational High School 1 Kalasan Yogyakarta. The sample in this study amounted to 225 students. The sampling technique used probability sampling with simple random sampling. The data collection method used a job satisfaction scale and data analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with 2nd Order CFA through Lisrel 8. 71 programs. The analysis results show that students at the State Vocational High School 1 Kalasan have employability in the reasonably high category. The aspects and indicators that make up the employability variables are declared valid and reliable based on the analysis results. The most dominant aspect that reflects employability is the scientific aspect, namely studying the material presented in school. The lowest aspect that reflects employability is the personality aspect, namely the perception of online to take risks for what is done. The employability variable measurement model fits the empirical data. The main fit model criteria used in testing the suitability of this model are Chi-Square p, RMSEA, NFI, NNFI, CFI, IFI, GFI, AGFI.
ABSTRAK Kesiapan kerja siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) jurusan teknik otomotif sangat dibutuhkan untuk menghadapi persaingan tenaga kerja yang semakin ketat di industri otomotif. Diperlukan upaya untuk meningkatkan kesiapan kerja siswa SMK yang terukur dan dapat dijadikan dasar untuk menentukan siap atau tidaknya siswa untuk bekerja. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk membekali mahasiswa dengan pembekalan kesiapan kerja sehingga dapat meningkatkan sikap, pengetahuan dan keterampilan kerja mahasiswa. Alat penilaian kinerja digunakan untuk membantu memberikan penilaian kinerja siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam PkM ini meliputi kegiatan pembekalan aspek teoritis kesiapan kerja oleh pelaku industri/usaha dan penerapan alat kinerja praktis yang digunakan untuk mengukur kesiapan kerja siswa SMK. Kegiatan PkM ini diikuti oleh 60 siswa SMK jurusan Teknik Otomotif yang terbagi dalam 3 kelompok hari mulai tanggal 21 hingga 23 Desember 2021. Pembagian hari tersebut dilakukan dalam rangka menjaga pelaksanaan protokol pencegahan penularan Covid 19. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah kegiatan PkM ini sikap, pengetahuan dan keterampilan kerja siswa meningkat, hal ini ditunjukkan dengan hasil uji statistik menunjukkan p value = 0,000 yang artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan sikap, pengetahuan dan keterampilan kerja sebelum dan sesudah Kegiatan PkM dilaksanakan. Kegiatan PkM berjalan dengan baik dan dampak dari pemberian pelatihan kesiapan kerja dapat meningkatkan sikap, pengetahuan dan keterampilan kerja mahasiswa.Kata kunci : Anak Berhadapan dengan Hukum, ABH, Penerimaan Sosial, Konsep Diri Anak ABSTRACT The work readiness of Vocational High School (SMK) students majoring in automotive engineering is needed to face the increasingly fierce labor competition in the automotive industry. Efforts are needed to improve the work readiness of SMK students which is measurable and can be used as a basis for determining whether students are ready to work or not. This Community Service (PkM) aimed to provide students with a briefing on work readiness so that they can improve students' attitudes, knowledge and work skills. Performance appraisal tools are used to help provide student performance appraisals. The method used in this PkM includes debriefing activities on the theoretical aspects of work readiness by industry/business actors and the application of practical performance tools used to measure the work readiness of vocational students. This PkM activity was attended by 60 SMK students majoring in Automotive Engineering who were divided into 3 groups of days from December 21 to 23, 2021. The division of days was carried out in order to maintain the implementation of the Covid 19 transmission prevention protocol. The results showed that after this PkM activity attitudes, knowledge and students' work skills increased, this was indicated by the results of statistical tests showing p value = 0.000, which means that there were significant differences in attitudes, knowledge and work skills before and after PkM activities were carried out. PkM activities run well and the impact of providing job readiness training can improve students' attitudes, knowledge and work skills.Keywords: : training, practice, job readiness, performance, vocational school
