Objective: Chronic pancreatitis, is an inflammatory diseasewhich causes progressive destruction of the pancreas characterized by recurrent abdominal pain. Various surgical procedures have been identified. In this study, we aimed to present our experience we apply in a variety of surgical indications in patients with chronic pancreatitis. Methods: Between December 2012-January 2016 eight cases were operated of chronic pancreatitis in ourclinic. Theethiology of chronic pancreatitis, implementation of theoperation with surgical indications, mortality, morbidity and clinical out comes were assessed. Results: Two of the patients were female and six were male. The average age of patients was 41,7 (20-62). Two patients had chronic pancreatitis due to autoimmune pancreatitis. Beger procedure was performed for these patients. In three patients of idiopathic chronic pancreatitis the pancreatic duct was severely dilated and there was wide spread stones a long the canal. These patients were performed modified Puestow pancreaticojejunostomy. One patient who had severe pain had treated with Whipple procedureando therone with total pancreatectomy. One patient who had suspected mass on pancreatic head treated with Whipple procedure. Surgical wound infection was developed in one patient. No mortality was observed. Nearly complete pain relief was observed in postoperative short-time follow upperiod. Conclusion: Chronic pancreatitis is a rarely seen disease which requires long termand multidisciplinary follow-up. Inselected cases appropriate surgical procedure smay provide an effective treatment option with low motality and morbidity.
