Islamic Development Bank (IDB) was largely known but in the context of its role in infrastructure development in Indonesia it has not been comprehensively socialized in various elements of Indonesian society. This article aims to explore the IDB contribution to the development of Educational infrastructures and its impact to the quality of human resources in Indonesia. This research is based on the fact that for a long time, IDB has provided a huge contribution to the various educational institutions in Indonesia, especially the university campuses. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) theories approach is adopted to explore more deeply the extent to which educational infrastructure plays a role in social and environmental life in Indonesia. This research is a qualitative study and the data used are field data obtained from infrastructure projects that have been built by IDB in Indonesia. The findings of this study are that the role of IDB is significant in improving Indonesia’s infrastructure and sustainable development. This significant role should be understood to the extent of its effectiveness and how it can contribute to the sustainable development of Indonesia.
This article examines how to implement the values of multiculturalism in the Islamic education curriculum as an attempt to counter narrative of radicalism in various educational institutions. This study is regardly important due to currently in the development of educational curriculum, the issue of intolerance and split religious understanding has come to the attention of the government as well as society of Indonesia. This study is a qualitative by using multicuralism theory of James A. Bank's. The study confirm that multiculturalism-based learning which contains of values of togetherness, humanity, tolerance, culture and local wisdom should be adopted as an alternative to counter radical narrative in the different educational institutions.
ICT in education becomes a matter being discussed at this time. Arabic Language Learning as a part of a Foreign Language Learning is one of many aspect that influenced by ICT. Some researcher believe that ICT can solve some problematic of language learning. Arabic Language Learning has its own problems of non-linguistic that make some difficulties to the learner. The aim of this study is to find deep information about cultural values contained in al-Kitab fi Ta‘allum al-‘Arabiyyah and al-‘Arabiyyah bayna Yadaik related to women and marriage. This study used a qualitative approach with the content analysis method by Norman Fairclough's Critical Discourse Analysis which is limited to the linguistic aspect. The text describes the problems faced by women regarding the culture of marriage and reveals cultural values related to the role of women in society and their position in marriage. The result of this study confirmed that al-Kitab fi Ta'allum al-'Arabiyyah and al-'Arabiyyah bayna Yadaik represent women and their position in marriage and society with a multi-perspective way. This study is important to provide critical thinking about women's issues and marriage in Arabic language teaching. Furthermore, the student and teacher will have an awareness and understanding of cultural differences to increase their ability to communicate with Arab society.
