A dynamic framework, based on the Dynamic Logic of Propositional Assignments (DL-PA), has recently been proposed for Dung's abstract argument system. This framework allows the addition and the removal of attacks, and the modification of the acceptance status of arguments. We here extend this framework in order to capture the addition and the removal of arguments. We then apply the framework on an access control case, where an agent engages in an argued dialogue to access some information controlled by another agent.
OATAO is an open access repository that collects the work of Toulouse researchers and makes it freely available over the web where possible. This is an author-deposited version published in : http://oatao.univ-toulouse.fr/ Eprints ID : 16855The contribution was presented at LORI 2015 :http://golori.org/lori2015/ and LRC where it is common knowledge which propositional variables each agent observes. In our logic, facts of the world and their observability can both be modified by assignment programs. We show how epistemic operators can be interpreted in this framework and identify the conditions under which the principles of positive and negative introspection are valid. We also provide a sound and complete axiomatization and prove that the satisfiability problem is PSpace-complete. Finally, we show how public and private announcements can be expressed and illustrate the latter by the gossip spreading problem.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
