AbstractOxidation mechanisms in polycrystalline Co-Ni-Cr-Al-W-Ta alloys were investigated using 16 O/ 18 O isotopic tracer analysis in the focused ion-beam secondary ion mass spectrometer (FIB-SIMS). It was found that Al additions favour the formation of a continuous alumina-rich layer, that Cr indirectly improved oxidation resistance and that increasing the Co fraction resulted in poorer oxidation performance. In the alloy containing 15 at.% Cr and 10 at.% Al, the outer scale formed after 200 h oxidation at 800• C comprised oxides less than 1 µm thick. It is concluded that protective oxide scales can be formed in Co-Ni base superalloys.
Perubahan penggunaan lahan merupakan fenomena yang banyak terjadi di berbagai tempat. Salah satu faktor pemicunya adalah adanya kebutuhan lahan. Kecamatan Cibatu merupakan bagian dari Kabupaten Garut dimana diduga terdapat kondisi perubahan penggunaan lahan. Penelitian dilakukan pada Bulan September – November 2020 yang berlokasi di seluruh area Kecamatan Cibatu. Metode yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis spasial dan metode survey. Metode analisis spasial yang digunakan adalah tumpang susun data spasial, sedangkan metode survey yang digunakan adalah groundcheck. Metode analisis spasial digunakan untuk menyusun unit-unit lahan untuk memudahkan pengambilan sampel. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 21 sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perubahan penggunaan lahan sawah di Kecamatan Cibatu dari sawah menjadi permukiman. Dari 21 sampel lokasi yang disurvey, hanya 1 sampel yang teridentifikasi telah terjadi perubahan penggunaan lahan. Hal ini dapat dikatakan bahwa laju perubahan penggunaan lahan di Kecamatan Cibatu tidak signifikan. Selain itu, metode unit lahan mampu digunakan untuk mempermudah penentuan sampel untuk identifikasi perubahan penggunaan lahan. Kata Kunci : Perubahan Penggunaan Lahan, Survei, Unit Lahan
In this study, the effect of sintering temperature on the properties of tungsten-copper (W-Cu) composite produced by liquid phase sintering (LPS) process has been investigated. W-20 wt.% Cu composite powders with particle size less than 1 μm was prepared by cold compaction and followed by cold isostatic pressing. The green specimens were then sintered under nitrogen based atmosphere in the temperature range of 1100°C to 1300°C. The sintering studies were conducted to determine the extent of densification and corresponding to microstructure changes. In addition, the properties of the sintered specimens such as physical appearance, microstructure evolution, mechanical and electrical properties were presented and discussed.
