Schizophrenia is a chronic mental disorder that affects the brain and causes disturbances of thoughts, perceptions, emotions, movements and strange behavior. The symptoms of schizophrenia that are often encountered are hallucinations. Auditory hallucinations are a condition of one of the mental disorders in which a person is unable to distinguish between real life and fake life. The purpose of this writing is to provide mental nursing care to Mr.J at the RSJ. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ildrem Medan. Descriptive writing method, namely a case study by conducting nursing care to patients with sensory perception problems of auditory hallucinations with a treatment implementation strategy (SP) carried out for 8 days at Mr.J. Data collection techniques were carried out using interview techniques, observation and physical examination. The nursing problem found in Mr.J's patients is auditory hallucinations. With management for 8 days, Mr.J can control auditory hallucinations by scolding, taking medication regularly, conversing with other people, carrying out scheduled activities. Suggestions in managing patients with auditory hallucinations are expected that with this study medical staff can build a trusting relationship with clients so that good communication can emerge and clients can express their problems in order to achieve the nursing process, the role of the family to visit clients and take care of clients who are now living themselves and provide sufficient support and attention to the client in order to speed up the client's healing process.
