This makes cloud computing an attractive option for SMEs in order to reducing the costs, and improving the quality and the efficiency of business processes. This research aim to knowing the impact of cloud technology on firm's performance towards firm sustainability in terms of economic, environment and social aspects. The result will be Conceptual model that investigates the factors influencing utilizing cloud computing to enhance the firm's performance which will then influence the firm's sustainability.
Background/objectives: Organisations in general need to have innovative strategies to tackle today's business environment and demonstrate that they are adopting sustainable and new business practices. Accordingly, SME Companies aim to use the potential offered by social media for customer relationship management (CRM) to build up added value and long-term relationships based on a high customer engagement. Methods/statistical analysis: We used a method to examine the relationship between social CRM media and performance outcome in SMEs. Social CRM is a business strategy supported by social media tools to provide added value for organisations and their target customers. While, SMEs can be identified by three main criteria; the number of employees, the annual turnover, and the assets. Findings: This research studies the relationship between the use of social media tools and customer relationship development in SMEs sector. In addition, it concerns with understanding the role that social CRM plays in improving the performance of SMEs. Improvements/applications: From this research, organisation will be benefited. Cloud computing plays a significant role in business organisations by offering many benefits and opportunities. However, the adoption of cloud computing involves some trepidation. The adoption of cloud computing in developing countries is still in the early phase. The bank sector in Saudi Arabia aims to benefit from opportunities offered by the cloud computing technology; however, some banks continue to hesitate in the implementation of this technology. Therefore, this study aims to investigate factors that influence the attitude of the Saudi Arabian bank sector towards adopting cloud computing. A model that incorporates factors derived from the literature is developed in this study to determine whether specific factors positively or negatively affect the attitude of the Saudi bank sector towards adopting cloud computing. A quantitative method is used and data are collected from decision makers and IT staff members in the Saudi bank sector. Results showed that factors of security and privacy exert a significant negative effect whilst factors of benefits and competition pressure demonstrate a significant positive effect on the Saudi bank sector attitude towards adopting cloud computing. Thus, cloud computing providers must focus more on negative influential factors to reduce the apprehension of the bank sector in adopting the cloud computing technology. In addition, the bank sector must also consider factors that can drive the adoption of cloud computing as well as opportunities and losses if this technology is rejected.
