Sexual and reproductive health is of great importance and is defined as a process linked to human development. In recent decades, information and communication technologies have transformed production, employment, work, education, health, political and social life, and everyday life. Ha ving a healthy society implies that people in general and women in particular, and with greater urgency, decide on their sexuality without pressure or violence. A systematic review of the scientific literature was carried out, adopting the PRISMA methodology. The search for articles in the different selected databases yielded a tota l of approximately 3,900 articles in the last 10 years, that is, fro m 2011 to 2021, then, when applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, only 24 articles were chosen, of which the main contributions were summarized, thus concluding that information and communication technologies are more easily implemented a nd have greater efficacy compared to traditional behavioral interventions. However, these can be very limited or fall into conservatism.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
