Health behaviour in hypertension sufferers, a non-communicable disease (NCDs), becomes a serious health problem if it is not followed by good knowledge and treatment skills. Improvement of this condition requires several interventions that must be integrated but require scientific evidence. This research aims to prove scientifically and provide solutions to improve health behaviour problems at risk in society. We used some interventions that were applied and integrated with community health service based on a mutual agreement: health education, group therapy, and the promotion of physical exercise. The number of research subjects was 53 adults at risk of hypertension in Wedomartani Village, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Data collection was carried out in June-July 2022 and used interview and observation techniques using outcome indicators, knowledge level and health maintenance skills. The results showed an increase of 32.0% in knowledge and health maintenance of 36.0% for non-communicable disease prevention behaviour by making warm water therapy combined with basil leaf infusion to lower blood pressure. There is an increased understanding of the processing of meat ingredients and the calculation of healthy eating portions. Likewise, there was an increase in the subjects’ activity to participate in physical exercise activities for hypertension exercise. The result was a decreasing prevalence of hypertension -24.5%. This study concluded that the combination of the three intervention strategies that have been given could be a choice of solution to the problem of health behaviour in adults with a risk of hypertension.
Angkringan is included in the culinary options of Java, although it involves a simple food stall on the roadside using a wheelbarrow and covered with a plastic tarpaulin as the roof. However, food safety is one of the main factors that influence tourists in choosing Angkringan culinary spots. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor the quality of food management by paying attention to health requirements including hygiene and sanitation procedures. This study aimed to analyze the differences in the food safety scores of Angkringan street vendors in Yogyakarta City before and after an intervention. We conducted a quantitative study with an experimental design from March to May 2021. We intervened with health education through pocketbooks in 49 communities of Angkringan street vendors in Yogyakarta tourism locations with a duration of one month. Data collection was conducted through the Food Safety Score Questionnaire while data analysis used Wilcoxon signed-rank tests. The majority of Angkringan street vendors had a category of Food Safety Score that was vulnerable but safe to consume before and after the pocketbook intervention. However, the influence of the intervention showed significant differences in research results (p-value < 0.05). This study concluded that health education interventions with pocketbooks among the Angkringan street vendors could positively affect food safety scores. We recommend that the government foster food hygiene education and monitoring of Angkringan street vendors, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Background: Reduced vaginal mucus to dyspareunia (pain during intercourse) is often experienced by perimenopausal women. This decreases sexual drive and awakening in women who influence sexual quality with their partner. One of the body and mind intervention exercises in premenopausal women is loving yoga. This study aims to find out the effectiveness of loving yoga against the sexual function of perimenopausal women. Methods: This type of research is a quantitative experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest design approach. Research by giving loving yoga intervention for four weeks (with intensity twice a week). Loving yoga movement focuses on kegel gymnastics and pelvic muscle movements, such as plank movement, upward dog, happy baby, downward-facing dog, cat-cow, pigeon, cobbler, leg-up-the-wall, reclining-big-toe, and bridge. Researchers measured the sexual function in 30 women by purposive sampling with inclusion criteria were aged 40-50 and still sexually active before and after loving yoga using the Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI) questionnaire. Analyze data using paired sample T-test. Results: This study result is seen from the mean value of 14.33, which means the FSFI score ≤ 26.5. While after complementary therapy loving yoga, the mean value of respondents is 30.13 or an FSFI score ≥ of 26.5, which means no sexual dysfunction. Based on the calculated Paired T-Test variables, the sexual function is obtained at the value of –28,748 with a significance value of < 0,000 (p < 0,05). Conclusion: Loving yoga has an influence 28,748 times on changes in the sexual function in perimenopausal women.
Negative stigma of society is one of the inhibitory factors of HIV/AIDS promotion and prevention programs. The Community Health Volunteer HIV (CHV HIV) program represents a community attempt to reduce the negative stigma of society concerning HIV/AIDS. The purpose of this activity is the formation of CHV HIV activities which are expected to educate the Primary Health Care (PHC) patients who are childbearing age women and expectant mothers in HIV/AIDS prevention; to support the success of the Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission (PMTCT) program; to increase the participation of childbearing age women and expectant mothers in Voluntary Counselling and Testing (VCT), and to reduce the incidence rate of HIV. Community empowerment activities were conducted in 2018, from July until November in Sleman, District Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY). These activities involved the socialization of HIV/AIDS programs and education about VCT for CHVs in cooperation with PHC and non-government organizations (NGOs). The CHVs provided counselling for childbearing age women and expectant mothers related to prevention of HIV/AIDS transmission. The results of these activities were the increasing of CHV knowledge about HIV/AIDS and the formation of twelve CHV HIV in Sleman, DIY. In conclusion, this activity effectively increases the participation of childbearing age women and expectant mothers in voluntary HIV tests, so that the formation of CHV HIV could not only involve adult age volunteers but also adolescents.
