Pada penghujung tahun 2019, di Wuhan, Cina ditemukan virus baru yaitu SARS-CoV-2 atau Coronavirus yang menyerang system pernapasan dan menular. Berdasarkan pola penyebaran virus yang ditemukan di beberapa Negara pada waktu bersamaan, maka WHO menyatakan kondisi ini sebagai pandemik global. Walaupun kejadian pada anak – anak relatif rendah daripada kejadian pada orang dewasa, kelompok usia ini harus mendapatkan perhatian yang tinggi karena anak-anak dicurigai mempunyai peranan dalam penyebaran virus juga karena mereka belum dapat melakukan pencegahan dan pengendalian infeksi. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan upaya pencegahan covid-19 melalui penkes terkait PHBS pada kelompok anak usia sekolah. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan melalui pendidikan dan pelatihan penerapan pola hidup bersih (mencuci tangan bersih, pemakaian masker, etika batuk dan menjaga jarak). Berdasarkan hasil pre dan post tes dapat diketahui bahwa yang memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam kategorik tinggi rata – rata mengalami kenaikan pada semua indikator. Pada indikator pengatahuan, tingkat pengetahuan etika batuk naik sebanyak 62,9%, tingkat pengetahuan mencuci tangan naik sebanyak 50,2%, tingkat pengetahuan penggunaan masker naik sebanyak 81,5%, dan tingkat pengetahuan terkait penjagaan jarak naik sebanyak 65%. Sedangkan untuk indikator keterampilan, timgkat keterapialn mencuci tangan bersih naik sebanyak 55,3% dan keterampilan penggunaan masker naik sebanyak 66,6%. Tingkat pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa dan siswi sekolah dasar atau kelompok usia sekolah terkait pola hidup bersih (mencuci tangan, memakai masker, etika batuk dan menjaga jarak) setelah dilakukan pendidikan kesehatan dengan metode diskusi menggunakan media animasi, demontrasi dan pendampingan secara langsung meningkat secara signifikan dari yang sebelumnya mayoritas berada pada kategorik rendah berubah menjadi kategorik tinggi.
Background: Early marriage is a problem arised among teenagers. Early marriage has negative impacts including reproductive health, especially for women, and the impact on adolescent emotions. Objective: to analyze the journals with specific topic to show readers what has been studiedfrom the topic and what has not been researched yet, to look for factors influencing early marriage. Methods: The study used literature review strategy. Results: From the results of the literature review, it was obtained twelve journals related to factors that affect the early marriage in adolescents. There are nineteen factors that influence early marriage, namely: education, knowledge, socio-cultural, parents, social norms, economy, gender, ethnicity, age of respondents, age of menarche, premarital pregnancy, media exposure, attitudes, peer influence, region, number of family members, income, place of residence, and religion. While the factors that do not affect the early marriage are the phenomenon of maturity, fulfillment of romance, work, stigma, poverty, family support. Conclusion:the factors influencing early marriage were education, income, knowledge, economy, family members, social and gender norms, ethnicity, age of respondents, media exposure, parents, culture, age of menarche, attitudes.
ABSTRACT Background: The incidence of breast cancer in Indonesia reaches 40 cases per 100,000 population. Early detection is a very important first step to determine the presence of a tumor or lump in the breast so that it can reduce the death rate. Knowledge is a factor that can shape the behavior of women of childbearing age to do Self Breast Examination (SADARI). Objective: To determine the relationship between knowledge about breast cancer and self breast examination behavior in Fertile Women in Kurahan I, Sanden Multigading, Bantul, Yogyakarta. Method: This study is a quantitative correlation with a cross sectional approach. The study population was 143 fertile women aged 15-49 years. The research sample of 59 respondents was determined by accidental sampling technique. The research instrument was a knowledge and behavior questionnaire about breast cancer. The data analysis techniques using Chi Square test. Results: Knowledge of breast cancer in women of childbearing age is in the sufficient category of 45.76%. The behavior about breast cancer in women of childbearing age is in the positive category of 69.49%. There is a correlation between knowledge and behavior about breast cancer in women of childbearing age based on the value of X2 count (24,126) > X2 table (5,991) and the Sig. (0,000) < α (0.05). Conclusion: There is a relationship between knowledge and behavior about breast cancer in women of childbearing age in the Kurahan 1, Murtigading, Sanden, Bantul, Yogyakarta.
After Covid-19 was declared a global pandemic problem, the government had an obligation to maintain survival, including toddlers. The case of Covid-19 in children under five and the mortality rate for children under five with Covid which is quite high compared to other countries, makes us have to continue to prevent it from spreading from various ages. Toddlers as candidates for the nation's next generation must have good health conditions, one of which is by maintaining the health of toddlers during the Covid-19 pandemic. Yogyakarta Stikes and Sonora radio held a health education through radio broadcasts which lasted approximately 2 hours. This counseling contains about how to prevent Covid-19 at the individual and family level, implementation of immunization, completeness of toddler nutrition, and referrals to health facilities. This lecture activity provides information to the public on how to maintain their health. Based on the evaluation of radio listeners, it is known that listeners are quite active in asking questions about the correct use of masks, as well as about the implementation of posyandu. It is hoped that from this counseling, public awareness will continue to increase, which is indicated by the behavior of the community in adhering to health protocols. Pandemi Covid -19 tidak dapat dipungkiri mempengaruhi sistem pembelajaran, perubahan pola sistem pembelajaran ini menjadi salah satu penyebab stres yang terjadi pada mahasiswa.Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam mengelola stres pasca pandemi Covid – 19. Sasaran kegiatan adalah 46 mahasiswa yang selama masa pandemi masih berada disekitar kawasan kampus, adapun kegiatan pengabdian dimulai dari pelaksanaan skrining kesehatan dan mental lalu dilanjutkan dengan pendidikan kesehatan terkait manajemen stres dan demostrasi terapi tertawa. Hasil skrining kesehatan dan mental ditemukan mayoritas mahasiswa mengeluhkan stres dalam kategorik sedang (70%), 59% mahasiswa mengeluhkan jam tidur berkurang sebanyak 1- 3 jam bahkan terdapat 24% mahasiswa yang jam tidurnya berkurang > 3 jam. Selain itu hasil pemeriksaan IMT didapatkan sebanyak 30% mahasiswa memiliki IMT underweight dan 15% mahasiswa memiliki IMT overweight, dan sebanyak 37% mahasiswa memiliki tekanan darah > 120/78 mmHg. Setelah dilakukan pendidikan kesehatan dan demontrasi terapi tertawa didapatkan hasil perubahan pada tingkat pengetahuan dan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam mengelola stres, dimana sebelumnya hasil pre –test mahasiswa yang memiliki tingkat pengetahuan dalam kategorik baik sebanyak 44% dan hasil post –test mahasiswa yang memiliki pengetahuan baik sebanyak 72%. Kegiatan skrining kesehatan dan mental, pendidikan kesehatan terkait manajemen stres dan demontrasi terapi tertawa terbukti dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam mengelola stres.
