The module is one of the teaching materials that is arranged as a whole and systematically. Modules based on learning models can change learning patterns from teacher center to student center. One of the learning models developed specifically for subject matter in the field of science is 5E instructional. The 5E Instructional Model consists of 5 stages namely engagement, exploration, explanation, elaboration and evaluation. The purpose of this study was to develop an instructional module based on 5E chemical laws to improve the process skills of science students. The type of research conducted is research & development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model. The results obtained for the validity of the construct and content were 0.89 and 0.91 with the valid category. Based on the results of the teacher and student response questionnaires, an average practicality score of 86.96% and 86.10% was obtained in the very practical category. The results of the effectiveness test conducted in the experimental and control classes showed that the N-gain value for the experimental class was higher than the control class, namely 0.84 and 0.79. Based on the results of the t-test on student learning outcomes, it was found that tt < th means that the learning outcomes of classes using the 5E instructional module were significantly higher compared to classes that did not use the 5E instructional module. Therefore, it can be said that the 5E-based basic chemistry law module is valid, practical, and effective. The effectiveness of the developed module is seen from the learning outcomes of students and science process skills, so that this module can already be used in the learning process.

The number of trees or breadfruit plants in West Sumatra increases every year. Currently the only part of the breadfruit tree that is widely used is the fruit, while the leaves are underutilized and only become waste. Breadfruit leaves contain flavonoids, alkaloids, saponins, and tannins which function as antibacterial. Based on these data, breadfruit leaves, which were originally only used as waste, can be innovated into a new breakthrough, namely the main ingredient for making soap. In addition, as we all know, it is very important to regularly wash our hands with soap, especially during a pandemic like today. However, getting children used to washing their hands regularly with soap is quite difficult for parents. It takes patience and a more serious and earnest effort for this to be achieved. One way is to make soap that attracts children's attention. Scalila Surprise Hand Soap is made by extracting breadfruit leaves and then mixing it with pour and melt soap base that has been melted. Then, it is given dye and essential oil as a soap fragrance and poured into the mold. This product has a unique and cute shape of fruits and animals. This white turmeric contains 11 active compounds, there are 5 main active compounds, namely 1,8-cineole, curcumin, D-alpha-pinene, D-borneol and D-champene. The methods used are modeling and computation using phytochem, chemdraw ultra 12.0 and chem 3D Pro 12.0, Switzerland. The conclusion from the results of bioinformatic research on white turmeric extract (curcuma zedoria.) Can be used as an anti-breast cancer drug.
Rendang is a typical food that is rich of protein from Padang city, West Sumatra, Indonesia. Rendang is a kind of food made of beef and combined with spices typical of West Sumatra. Rendang has a special and delicious taste. Therefore, rendang was ranked as the 1st most delicious food in the world based on World delicious food in 2011. However, the ranking of rendang becomes 11st in 2021. Because of that, we will make new innovation that is expected to be able to increase the ranking of rendang in the world to the first place. Our new innovation is to combine rendang with kebab. Kebab itself is a typical Middle Eastern food that has several advantages. The advantages are practical, economical and delicious. The combination of these two special foods that come from different countries will certainly produce a special, unique, delicious and affordable food innovation. This rendang kebab is expected to be an innovation that attracts the attention of many people, including young people who like something new. The kebab rendang also has very good prospects in the future because we still conserve the local culinary and the producing is directly handled by the expert, namely students who is originally from west Sumatra and has traditional and modern cooking skill that need not to be doubted.
