This paper aims to determine the analysis of children's self-confidence by using the word-connecting method in Group B TK Pembina 1, Tinambung District, Polewali Mandar Regency. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study was all group B in TK Pembina 1. The sampling technique used was saturated samples, 15 people, 10 boys and 5 girls. The instrument used is an observation guide. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistical analysis. The results showed that the highest pretest score was 26 and posttest was 50. The lowest pretest score was 20 and posttest was 45. The average value of the pretest was 45.8 and the posttest was 60.6. The conclusion that the method of connecting words can develop self-confidence in early childhood.type of research uses quantitative research by using experimental methods.
