Of these tools, one of the most known is the REBA (Rapid Entire Body Assessment) tool. Its wide use has changed its form of distribution and application by several authors to try to find its best way of application. In addition, with the advent of cell phones and tablets, several versions of this tool's apps were made. Few researches can be found about the usability of this method; also which version is most appropriate in terms of usability. The objective of this article is to evaluate the usability of the REBA tool in two different versions to verify the influence that such usability has on the results generated by it. It is believed that any type of tool that will be used for an ergonomic evaluation must, intrinsically, be usable, since its usability has a direct influence on its reliability and replicability. Thus, a comparative usability analysis of the tool on paper and app versions was performed with eight subjects to verify this usability. We found a better usability for the application, but similar reliability for the two versions. Thus, both can be used for REBA evaluation.
People with visual impairments in performing tasks such as getting around and picking up objects, the blind uses a mental visualization of the route in a way already memorized, however, for this, it is necessary that there is a prior instruction, a knowledge of the place. In this context, we sought to explore and discuss AT's that are being tested for indoor location and identification of products, in order to discover potentials in use in supermarkets. A systematic literature review was used in an exploratory way in order to define the technologies that would be researched and the cut was in the comparative analysis of Beacons, RFID and QR Code, cited in the literature. As a result, all the articles presented potential in the use of these technologies in a supermarket environment and in the identification of products from the shelf.
Palavras-chave: Experiência Do Usuário, Métodos, Laboratório. Heuristic evaluation stands out among the usability evaluation methods regarding its benefits related to time and costs. Nevertheless, generic heuristic sets require improvements when it comes to specific interfaces as seen on m-learning applications that have acquired considerable evidence within the current technologic context. Regarding the lack of studies aimed at interfaces of this sort, the authors propose, through a systematic methodology, the comparative study between a heuristic set specific to the assessment on e-learning interfaces and other, on mobile. The identified usability problems were matched with the aspects of coverage, distribution, redundancy, context and severity, in a way that it was possible to understand the efficiency of each set in covering m-learning issues. Among the findings, e-learning's heuristic set could detect a larger number of usability problems not found by mobile's.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
