Tlhe nature of the light is similar to daylight, and all objects appear in their natur al colours. For this reason the lamp slhould be of practical use in plhotography and for general purposes of illumination. The spectroscopic examiiination and the biological investigations which hiavo been described slhow that this lamp transmits rays of tlherapeutic value, and is in many respects " artificial sunlighlt."
