This study explores the potential correlation between adolescent social relationships and music preferences. The research aims to examine whether certain types of music preferences are associated with different social relationships during adolescence. To achieve this, a survey was conducted among a sample of adolescents aged between 13 to 18 years old. The results of the study suggest that there is a significant correlation between music preferences and social relationships among adolescents. These findings have important implications for understanding the role of music in adolescent social development and could be used to inform music-based interventions aimed at promoting positive social relationships among adolescents.
