In this paper, the structure and characteristic of CANopen protocol is analyzed, and the implementation in a Water Electrolysis Hydrogen Generation Station (WEHGS) is described in detail, which includes the hardware interface design of CAN controller based on the ARM7 of LPC2292, and the software implementation. Finally, the practice proved that used CANopen in WEHGS is a good way with real time action, more reliability and low cost.
In power plants and other complex industrial application fields, incomprehensive design can make the system less durable. The fault of the fieldbus, in principle, comes from the physical layer, whose lay-out directly affects the fieldbus’s reliability. This article discusses from four aspects on how to improve the reliability of the physical layer of CAN bus, which include the selection of cables and connectors, the length of the bus and branch lines, the matching method of terminal resistor, and the interface circuit of hardware. Furthermore, the article presents the plan of using H-bridge type matching terminal, which aims at solving signal-reflection problems. Finally, the theory is verified through the application of intelligent electric actuator with the CAN bus.
Server operating system of the integrated supervisory control system (ISCS) in urban rail transport is very important, this article analyzed and compared the main server OS Unix, Linux and Windows server from security, reliability, ease of use and cost. Finally using the Shenzhen Metro 3rd Line as an example, summed up that current the server operating system of the ISCS system will continue to Unix and Windows Server-based, and gradually transitioned to Windows Server.
For the development trends and defects of the Water Electrolysis Hydrogen Generation Station (WEHGS), the design of CAN bus distributed network control system based on CANopen protocol is presented. CANopen master characteristics have been analyzed, then the communication implementation of CANopen monitor msater protocol stack, which includes the hardware interface and software design of CAN controller based on the LPC2292, is described. The tested results show that CANopen monitor master meets the requirements of WEHGS.
