Ultra wideband radio, especially impulse radio demands extremely high accuracy in pulse synchronization. A synchronization algorithm for picosecond pulse positioning is proposed with a complete analog correlation receiver. A Transmitter for the two different time and amplitude modulation schemes is presented. Solutions for extending the receiver to multi user features by software can solve the problems of dense UWB environments. A detection of all strong paths for rake receivers can also be done by this sub-sampling algorithm.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
