antenna in the 28.5 -29.5 GHz band for interactive wireless communications. This paper describes the design of a multi-layer transmit/receive microstrip patch array
Renewed interest in Quantum Flux Parametrons (QFPs) and their properties has occurred due to new applications of these devices for current comparators and timing discriminators [l]. Current noise (inferred from switching probabilities) of these devices has been measured as a function of exciter slew rates. We have found that at high slew rates the switching probability follows an error-function distribution quite closely. However, at low slew rates, the distribution resembles a Fermi-Dirac distribution. Good agreement with Monte-Carlo simulations for high slew-rates is seen with a current noise proportional to the Johnson noise of the damping resistors [2]. The current noise decreases with decreasing slew rate and is in good agreement with thermal activation calculations in the limit of slow slew rates.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
