Angiosarcoma of the breast represents a rare breast neoplasm, which generally has a rapid fatal outcome due to its advanced stage at the clinical presentation, the high rate of local recurrence and the hematogenous dissemination. In this report the authors discuss the clinical findings and the pathologic and imaging characteristics of this lesion. They review their own two cases of angiosarcoma of the breast and report about a new possibility of adjuvant therapy with high-dose cytotoxic drug therapy and stem cell support.
