Synthesis and Biological Activity of 8-Alkyl(aryl)-6-cyanopyrido(2,3d) pyrimidine-2,4,5-triones. -A series of title 6-cyanopyridopyrimidines (III) (8 examples) are prepared by reaction of the corresponding cyanoacetyluracils (I) with amide acetals.
