Zusammenfassung: In dieser Studie wurde der immunoluminometrische BeriLux 9 PSA-Test mit zwei radioimmunologischen und einem fluorometrischen Verfahren verglichen. Für den BeriLux 9 PSA wurden an 150 gesunden Probanden (100 Männer und 50 Frauen) die Referenzbereiche ermittelt. Bei Männern lag die 95%-Perzentile bei 3,77 ng/ml, für Frauen lag die 95%-Perzentile bei 0,1 ng/ml. Der Korrelationskoeffizient zwischen der immunoluminometrischen Methode und radioimmunologischen Methode liegt bei r = 0,99, die analytische Sensitivität von BeriLux 9 PSA liegt bei 0,03 ng/ml. Die Stabilität der Serumproben bei Lagerungstemperaturen zwischen 2°C und 8°C ist über einen Tag garantiert. Über diesen Zeitraum hinaus sollten Serumproben bei-20° C gelagert werden. Therefore we evaluated a reference ränge for the BeriLux® PSA test on 150 healthy volunteers (100 men and 50 women).In men 95 percentage of the values were by 3.77 ng/ml, in women by 0.1 ng/ml. The correlation between the immunoluminometric and radioimmunologic method is very good with an r = 0.99. The sensitivity of the analysis is at a level of 0.03 ng/ml. The specimen remains stable at a storage temperature between 2-8°C for 24 hours. In case of a longer storage period a storage temperature of-20°C should be chosen.
