Nine species of Coleoptera belonging to fi ve families (Ciidae, Melandryidae, Nitidulidae, Ptinidae, Staphylinidae) are recorded from Hungary for the fi rst time. Occurrences of Dacne pontica (Bedel, 1868) (Erotylidae) and Mycterus curculioides (Fabricius, 1781) (Mycteridae) in Hungary are confi rmed. With 16 fi gures.

The chromatographic behaviour of a-, 0and y-cyclodextrin on strongly cross-linked dextran gels was found very characteristic.Their elution sequence (1st y-, 2nd a-, 3rd B-CD) is identical with the sequence of their decreasing solubility. The retention of a-and pcyclodextrin depends significantly from the temperature, but doesnot depend in a measurable extent in the case of y-cyclodextrin. An adsorption effect is dominating in the first two cases.Die Chromatographie von a-, pund y-Cvclodextrin an Dextrangel-Saulen. a-, pund y-Cyclodextrin zeigten bei der Chromatographie auf stark vernetzten Dextrangelen sehr charakteristische Verhaltensweisen. Ihre Elutionsreihenfolge (1. : y-, 2. : a-, 3. : p-CD) entspricht der gleichermal3en abnehmenden Loslichkeit. Die Retention von aund P-Cyclodextrin hingt im Gegensatz zu der von y-Cyclodextrin signifikant von der Temperatur ab. In den beiden ersten Fallen herrscht ein Adsorptionseffekt vor.
