The research consists of the development of a methodology to update the Educational Objectives in Engineering Programs (O.E.P), adopting the 9 general criteria and a specific criterion of accreditation by student results of the international ac creditation agency ICACIT. Therefore, it is necessary to have global guidelines for engineering training that allow compliance with the institut ional and program purpose. For this, the self-study of the program, the mission of the program, the alignment with the educa tional objectives, the accreditation criteria, the student's skills and results were considered as a starting point; as well as the contribution of the program's stakeholders; managing to systematize the updating process, sustaining the educational model a nd not affecting the students in the process of training.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
