The measurement of Sb(III) by diffusive gradients in thin-films (DGT) using a 0.0030 M solution of sodium polyacrylate (PAAS) as the binding agent with the modified DGT devices, PAAS DGT, had been systemically investigated. The capacity of PAAS DGT for Sb(III) was 22.52 ȝg·mL-1. The PAAS DGT had a substantial binding capacity at pH 4-9 and concentrations of competitive Na+ up to 0.7 M. The Sb(III) concentrations were determined accurately and simultaneously in synthetic solution by PAAS DGT (Recovery = 92.26 %, r2 = 0.9913, RSD% = 2.86). It has been demonstrated in this study that the PAAS DGT can be used for the sampling and measurement of Sb(III) in waters .
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
