A REVIEW of the literature indicates that little conclusive information has been published with respect to the use of various levels of diluted semen in the artificial insemination of turkeys. The work of Burrows and Marsden (1938) indicates that good results can be secured from undiluted turkey semen at the rate of 0.05 cc. per insemination. These results are supported by the studies of Parker (1947) using Broad Breasted Bronze turkeys. He found that 0.05 cc. of undiluted pooled semen used at two week intervals secured fertility ranging from 80.4 percent to 94.3 percent. This included two seasons records from January 1 through June 15.
