The present paper proposes the presentation through a modern e-learning method, in the discipline of Mechanics, determining the speeds and accelerations at different types of mechanisms. We use visual presentation methods, combined with explanations in the form of text. This determination of speeds and accelerations is performed using the graph-analytical method of Euler. PowerPoint was used to present the lab work. Hyperlinks have been created between different slides, creating references to other slides to provide sufficient information about the lab work. There is an interconnection between the chapters of the paper, to facilitate the development of the laboratory without losing the student's attention. The present paper can be accessed from the University's SUMS platform (https://core.uav.ro), each student having access using their own username and password. AutoCAD Mechanical Desktop was used to create the graphical part. In the paper it is assumed that the mechanism is a desmodrome, the movements of all kinematic elements and couples are known. The driving kinematic torque is materialized by a three-phase asynchronous electric motor, the students will determine the speeds and accelerations of the elements of the mechanism in different positions. The velocity vectors will be constructed, for each element separately, thus obtaining the center of the instantaneous rotation, by means of which the instantaneous speeds of the elements of the mechanism can be determined. General competences pursued are: identifying the data that intervenes in the problem and the relationships between them, elaborating the algorithms for solving problems and implementing the algorithms in a programming language. Specific competences: description of a succession of operations that are obtained from the input data and the output data, the analysis of the problem statement and the establishment of the steps to solve the problem, the representation of the algorithms in the word and the final drawing. observing the principles of structured programming in the process of elaborating algorithms, identifying the need for structured data and processing structured data.
