Indonesia is the country with a diversity of cultures. The cultural diversity makes Indonesia as one nation in the world which have a rich language, ethnicity, and religion. The Motto of diversity is Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, the meaning "unity in diversity". Bhinneka Tunggal Ika is not just slogans but more than that, Bhinneka Tunggal Ika is a spirit which must be assimilated in mutual love, accept differences, and respect. By image diversity of culture can be said Indonesia as the multicultural country. The base of multicultural is democratic and humanitarian values. The human values will emerge and embedded through the provision of education. Education is the process to create the quality human in accordance with nature and culture held. Therefore, the beginning implanting of multicultural education is a right educate for created the quality human. The function of multicultural education is educating children for learning to live together in peace and accept differences in life.
<em>The teacher is an element that plays an important role in improving the quality of education in Indonesia. It is inevitable that there are various problems in learning that need to be solved by a teacher, one of them with research. Classroom Action Research is an attempt to correct any shortcomings and deficiencies in learning. Followed by writing a Classroom Action Research Report, carried out as an attempt to think and prove to improve the professionalism of teachers and is no less important as an added value in increasing credit. The aim of this study is to describe: teacher skills in writing Classroom Action Research reports and obstacles for teachers in writing scientific articles. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive design. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the skills to write research reports in the classroom were still low and very rarely performed. The obstacles that the teacher encountered were the lack of understanding of scientific articles, little systematic writing knowledge, limited liability, problems with the use of computers and time. But of all that, the cause of the obstacles that the teacher encounters is motivation.</em>
This research is motivated by the importance of mathematical reasoning abilities for primary school students. This research aims at looking at the effect of the Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract (CPA) approach on the enhancement of mathematical reasoning abilities of primary school students. This research method is a quasi-experiment with pre-test and post-test control group design in Mathematics subjects with the theme of data presentation. The research sample consisted of 121 fifth grade students in two primary schools in Bekasi Regency. The test and non-test instruments were involved in this research. The results revealed that there wasthe influence between the CPA approach and students' mathematical reasoning abilities, and the achievement and enhancement of mathematical reasoning abilities of students who got learning with the CPA approach werebetter than students who got conventional learning based on all student review and a category of Prior Mathematical Ability (PMA) high, moderate and low. In conclusion, the mathematical reasoning ability of primary school students can be improved by applying the CPA approach.
