Este artículo presenta el diseño de un transductor de fuerza para un banco de experimentación de pesaje dinámico WIM (Weigh-in-Motion). Se describen los requerimientos para el diseño del transductor, las condiciones de carga mecánica y confinamientos impuestos, el proceso de elección de la geometría del transductor y la implementación del mismo. Se utiliza el Método de Elementos Finitos (FEM) para obtener la geometría del transductor y su análisis numérico se desarrolla mediante la herramienta CAE-ALGOR. El estudio de las curvas obtenidas por el banco de experimentación de pesaje dinámico es ilustrado y un modelo de obtención del valor del peso es propuesto.
