The purpose of the study is to investigate the relationship between organizational trust and school mindfulness. To achieve this purpose, a quantitative approach and relational design were preferred, and School Mindfulness Scale and Organizational Trust Scale were used as data collection tools. The study sample consisted of 495 participants working in public schools in İstanbul province. The data was evaluated using arithmetic mean, correlation and regression analysis. According to the results, trust in the principal and colleagues improves school mindfulness. Furthermore, trust in the principal increases the mindfulness of the school principal, while trust in colleagues enhances mindfulness among the faculty. It can therefore be said that school principals may prefer to strengthen organizational trust to increase the level of mindfulness within the school.
The purpose of this study is to reveal leadership roles of school principals having impact on school mindfulness. This quantitative study with correlational design involves 389 teachers from secondary and high schools in Buyukcekmece, Istanbul province. The researchers used the ‘School Mindfulness’ and ‘Leadership Roles of School Principals’ scales. In the study descriptive statistics, correlation and regression analyses were used to reveal the prediction level. The findings showed that visionary and transformational leadership roles of school principals strengthen school mindfulness and the sub-categories of faculty and school principal mindfulness. In addition, instructional leadership roles of school principals predict principal mindfulness. However, cultural leadership was found to have no effect on school mindfulness.

The main aim of efforts to improve teaching is to create conditions that are more supportive of student learning and social development. The most tangible output of teaching activities occurs during the teaching activities conducted in the classroom environment. It is therefore reasonable to focus on what happens in the classroom to improve teaching. The quality of interactions between students and teachers is affected by the emotional states of both parties. Positive emotions arising from teachers are an important factor in high-quality teaching experiences for both parties. Due to the enriching and affirming effects of teacher enthusiasm in classroom interactions, it is important to investigate the underlying processes. For that reason, this research was designed to investigate the effects of supportive and collaborative processes on teacher enthusiasm. As a result of this research, it was concluded that organizational values and practices that facilitate and encourage information exchange increase teacher enthusiasm. In this respect, investigating organizational processes that facilitate cooperation and positively affect the achievement of school goals may be beneficial in terms of increasing the effectiveness of schools.
