The article is devoted to the analysis of possibilities of using alternative types of fuel in transport. Gas engine fuels are considered as potential energy carriers for diesel engines. Since the constructions of vehicles, using gas and traditional types of fuel, have some differences, the most important are the issues of ensuring trouble-free operation: the reliability of design, the development of petrol station chain, and the corporate service system. One of the ways of solving the problem of forecasting the need to expand the network of gas-filling stations for natural gas vehicles (NGV)is presented in the work. It is implemented in the form of program module that allows taking into account the prospects for expansion of the natural gas vehicles park, as well as the risks, which may arise in the process of realization of the long-term strategies for the development of this direction. The issues of ensuring the operational reliability of NGV are considered. The developed methods are aimed at improving the corporate service system of PJSC "KAMAZ". Fundamental defects of gasengines and failures distribution, depending on the operational kilometers, arising in the warranty period of operation, are analyzed in the work.
Pedestrians and cyclists are the most vulnerable road users. One of the ways to increase their safety is the safest route selection. Nowadays, there are a lot of navigation systems and route planners. However, these routes are not assessed from the viewpoint of their safety. The article describes one of the possible system alternatives to assess the safety of route for different types of road users. The developed system is based on the multifactorial analysis of information. Correction factors allow considering special features of each type of road users. The developed algorithm is implemented as an application.
The article is devoted to the increase of the cargo vehicles market on the gas-engine fuel. The article considers the relevance of the use of the alternative types of transport’s fuels. As potential energy carriers for internal combustion engines, gas engine fuels are considered. Prospects and problems of using natural gas as motor fuel, as well as ecological and economic aspects of the use of compressed natural gas as fuel for vehicles are presented. Prospects for expanding the market for trucks powered by gas engine fuel are discussed, as well as the advantages of using natural gas as a safe, environmentally friendly and economical type of alternative fuel are considered. It is shown that the main obstacle to the expansion of the gas engine vehicles’ market is the underdevelopment of the infrastructure: filling stations and service centres. The organization of gas-cylinder vehicles (GCV) servicing is considered. The authors have developed an imitation model that allows determining the optimal number of repair stations for the service centre, as well as software for forecasting the required number of automobile gas filling compressor stations (AGFCS).
