Medicine is all substances such as chemical, animal or vegetative in a possible dose that could heal, assuage or prevent the disease and its symptoms. Infectious disease is still the most of health society problem, especially in developing country. Antibiotics are chemical substances generated by microorganisms which have the ability to obstruct the growth or eliminate another microorganism. Antibiotics are the most widely used medicine for infectious which caused by bacteria. The accurate recipe and good consumption of antibiotics use will give well beneficial and effective for the patient. Otherwise, using antibiotics which not suitable for the instruction will conduct the decrease of the medicine function itself (antibiotics resistance), and could make new disease caused by the wrong application. Anjir Mambulau village is located in Province of Central Kalimantan, particularly the part of Kapuas Hilir district, Kapuas. These villagers mostly obtain the medicines from a small shop and consume it based on the experiences and family suggestions only. The purpose of this research is to know the knowledge level of Anjir Mambulau villagers about antibiotics use, using the descriptive method with the valid questionnaire, to the sample of the village's population by purposive sampling technique, the questionnaire contains any questions with semi-open way which made by the researchers that should be answered by the respondent. This research sourced from 309 respondents results that 35,5% villagers of AnjirMambulau have not the cognize of using antibiotics.
Kidney disease includes various diseases and disorders affecting the kidney function. If not treated immediately then there will be kidney failure. Patients with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) require hemodialysis due to impaired endocrine, metabolic, electrolyte and acid-base functions. Hemodialysis is a substitute for kidney function to remove the rest of the metabolism. These hemodialysis actions can affect the quality of life of patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of life of CKG patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy in dr. Doris Sylvanus Hospital Palangka Raya. This research uses the univariate quantitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected using a questionnaire adapted from the World Health Organization Quality of Life (WHOQoL)-BREF containing 26 items of questions covering four dimensions: physical, psychological, environmental and social. The sample used in this study as many as 30 people. Based on the assessment of the quality of life in this study showed that physical and psychological dimensions including in moderate quality of life, and environmental and social dimensions including a good quality of life.
Health services quality is one manifestation of the demands of society in the current era of globalization so it must be carried out in accordance with the established code of ethics and health service standards, in order to provide satisfaction for each patient. In addition, this is very necessary because it is the right of every customer so that it can provide an opportunity for health service facilities to win the competition by providing other health services. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of availability of prescribed drugs for outpatient in pharmacy installation of PKU Muhammadiyah Islamic Hospital Palangka Raya in August to December 2017. This research is a non-experimental study using a descriptive method. Based on the results of the research conducted at the Pharmacy Installation of PKU Muhammadiyah Islamic Hospital Palangka Raya there were 4,956 prescription sheets with an average number of items of 3,035 prescribed drugs and 2,975 items of drugs submitted to obtain the average percentage of drug availability in the year 2017 is 98.02%. Based on the results of research conducted at the Pharmacy Installation of PKU Muhammadiyah Islamic Hospital Palangka Raya, it can be concluded from this study that the level of drug availability for outpatients of Pharmacy Installation at PKU Muhammadiyah Islamic Hospital Palangka Raya in August to December 2017 has shown well with an average percentage of drug availability of 98.02%.
Jerangau Hijau is a medicinal plant believed by the people of Central Kalimantan to have an efficacy of treating fever, postpartum injuries, and anti-inflammatory. Based on previous research, Jerangau Hijau is known to contain chemical compounds namely flavonoids and saponins that have activity as an antibacterial. The purpose of this study was to find out whether the ethanolic extract of Jerangau Hijau leaves able to inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria and to know the concentration of ethanolic extract of Jerangau Hijau leaves that able to inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. This research was conducted using the Kirby-Bauer method with disc paper. The extraction process was carried out by percolation method using 96% ethanol solvent. The results showed that the ethanolic extract of Jerangau Hijau leaves was able to inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria, at concentrations of 1%, 5%, 10%, and 15% with mean inhibitory zones respectively 22�0,2 mm; 32,3�1,4 mm; 26,5�3,8 mm; and 13,1�3 mm.

Materi yang disampaikan adalah mengenai Gerakan Keluarga Sadar Obat dengan berfokus pada DAGUPIPISIBU (Dapatkan, Gunakan, Pilih-pilih, Simpan, dan Buang) obat dengan benar, meliputi: (1) Agar obat memberikan manfaat dan keamanan bagi anda ingatlah DAGUPIPISIBU; (2) Dapatkan obat dengan benar gunakan obat dengan benar buang obat dengan benar simpan obat dengan benar; (3) Dapatkan obat dengan benar tempat pelayanan obat resmi adalah Apotik; (4) Konsultasi dengan apoteker di Apotik untuk mendapatkan obat yang aman, bermanfaat dan berkualitas; (5) Konsultasi dengan Apoteker di Apotik agar dapat menggunakan obat dengan benar; (6) Konsultasi dengan Apoteker di Apotik karena setiap obat memerlukan kondisi penyimpanan yang berbeda dan (7) Konsultasi dengan Apoteker di Apotik agar dapat membuang obat dengan benar. Kegiatan ini merupakan salah satu upaya dalam meningkatkan ketepatan Swamedikasi masyarakat yang selama ini dilakukan tanpa pengawasan sebagai salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan derajat kesehatan masyarakat Indonesia khususnya masyarakat yang berada di daerah terpencil.
