The effects of Pr substitution on the structural and the superconducting properties for Pb-based 1201 cuprates with compositions of (Pb 0.5-x Pr x Cd 0.5 )SrLaCuO z ( 0 ≤ x ≤ 0.25) and (Pb 0.45 Pr 0.05 Cd 0.5 )(Sr 1-y La 1+y )CuO z (0 ≤ y ≤ 0.1) were investigated. It is found that T c decreases as the Pr-doping content x increases in the (Pb 0.5-x Pr x Cd 0.5 )SrLaCuO z samples, whereas T c of (Pb 0.45 Pr 0.05 Cd 0.5 ) (Sr 1-y La 1+y )CuO z samples increases as the La-doping content y increases. The experimental results were discussed in connection with the change in hole concentration of the samples.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
