Durch Modifikation wird die Prandtl-Reuss-Theorie so erweitert, daB im elastisch-plastischen Obergangsbereich die Formanderungskinematik zutreffender beschrieben wird. Mit Hilfe der FEM-Theorie wird nun das elastisch-plastische Modell eines einachsigen Fadenverbundwerkstoffs mit metallischer Matrix beschrieben. Unter transversaler Normalbelastung zeigt dieser Verbund eine rasche Ausdehnung lokaler plastischer Zonen in der Matrix. Die Theorie wird versuchstechnisch verifiziert.Some numerical and experimental investigations on the plastification of a filament composite material. The modified Prandtl-Reuss-theory yields a more accurate description of the kinematics in the transition phase. Using the FEM-theory, the elastic-plastic model of a unidirectional fibre-reinforced composite with a metallic matrix is described now. Subjected to a transverse normal loading the composite shows a fast spread of locally plastic regions in the matrix. The theory is verified by experiments.
