This paper presents a remotely operable PC-based CNC (Computer Numerical Control) system via network aimed at remote control and real-time monitoring. The system is developed on the client-server architecture. Specially, for the sake of network bandwidth conservation and the requirement of on-line feedback, OpenGL technology is introduced as an alternative of the network camera-based solution for remote visualization. At last, a practical example is provided to demonstrate the feasibility of the developed CNC system.
With our life becoming increasingly intelligent, The smart home is complies with the development of the era and plays a positive role in the intelligent life. Thus a kind of smart fan, based on PSoC, comes into being. The design, whose main control chip is PSoC, achieves many functions, like the switch between manual control and temperature control, natural wind and other functions with the support of external auxiliary circuit and wireless remote control. The design is much more valuable because of the perfect development prospects of PSoC and smart home.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
