A new genus, Kachinia Tong & Li, gen. n., including two new species, K.putao Tong & Li, sp. n., and K.mahmolae Tong & Li, sp. n., is described from Myanmar. The new genus belonging to the subfamily Oonopinae Simon, 1890, currently is the only member of the Brignolia-Opopaea clade with leg spines.

A new genus of the subfamily Coelotinae F.O. Pickard-Cambridge, 1893, Vappolotes Zhao et S. Li gen. n., with two new species, V. ganlongensis Zhao et S. Li sp. n. (♂♀) and V. jianpingensis Zhao et S. Li sp. n. (♀), is described. The genus is restricted to southern China (Guizhou). Its relationship to other coelotine genera is discussed. A partial fragment of the mitochondrial cytochrome oxidase subunit I of both species were obtained to aid species identification at the molecular level.

Seven new species of the genus Trilacuna Tong & Li, 2007: Trilacunabawan Tong, Zhang & Li, sp. n. (male, female), T.datang Tong, Zhang & Li, sp. n. (male, female), T.fugong Tong, Zhang & Li, sp. n. (male, female), T.gongshan Tong, Zhang & Li, sp. n. (male, female), T.longling Tong, Zhang & Li, sp. n. (male, female), T.wuhe Tong, Zhang & Li, sp. n. (male, female), and T.xinping Tong, Zhang & Li, sp. n. (male, female) are described from Yunnan Province, China.

The spider genus Desis Walckenaer, 1837 is the type genus of the spider family Desidae Pocock, 1895. Desis spiders hide in silk sacs between rocks or shells during high tide and forage during low tide (Baehr et al. 2017). Four Desis species have been recorded from Asia: Desis gardineri Pocock, 1904 (India), Desis inermis Gravely, 1927 (India), Desis japonica Yaginuma, 1956 (Japan) and Desis martensi L. Koch, 1872 (Malaysia) (World Spider Catalog 2020). Until now, only one species of the family Desidae, Badumna tangae Zhu, Zhang & Yang, 2006, has been reported from China (Zhu et al. 2006). Here, we describe a new species of Desis and report the genus from China for the first time.
