In the new era of the borderless world, the development of pedagogical learning is growing and expanding progressively. Educators have diversified teaching methods to create interactive learning experiences. Twitter application is part of a social media network that is used by people every day. In the education world itself, Twitter application has been widely used in teaching pedagogy. Thus, this study is conducted to examine the effectiveness of using Twitter application in the teaching and learning process at low to high education level. Using a meta-synthesis study, 9 articles from 2012 until 2017 were selected. The findings are presented through themes derived from the synthesis of selected articles to elucidate the objectives of the study. Through the synthesis of articles that have been done, the Twitter application has given a good impact in the teaching and learning process. It has been able to increase the learning motivation and facilitate the understanding of a learning process. In addition, it can also create collaborative learning as well as create interaction within a learning process as students can generate ideas from the information sources that are easily accessible in this app. As a result, Twitter application has facilitated the management process of teaching to educators as well as helping to improve student academic achievement.
A moral person is a personal characteristic in terms of good and bad behavior that is prominent and accepted in a community context. Law compliance is a necessity in an individual's life that is surrounded by various codes of conduct and ethics to create a perfect life. Shaping moral people from various perspectives is a basis and guide to life. This article discusses the view of the western theoretical perspective in shaping law compliance. As a bibliographic study, this paper presents qualitative findings based on detailed references from journals, articles, books and newspapers. The findings are then elaborated thematically with narrative writing. Based on the findings of the study, shaping moral people towards law compliance can be practiced through the perspective of three western theories, namely utilitarianism, personality virtue and deontology theories. Research findings are also discussed based on examples and descriptions.
Edmodo is a social media concept of virtual education which helps teachers, students and parents in a form of new style of learning. Current developments have witnessed a change in the way of students learning in line with technological developments. This study was conducted using an action research model adapted from Kemmis and Mc Taggart (1988), which aims to identify students' feedback on the use of this application in PDP Moral Education. This qualitative research involving 23 pupils Moral Education Form 4, from 3 classes of all races comprising china, india and etc. Data were analyzed using analysis of documents and interviews focus groups through theme analysis method. The findings showed that Edmodo application has given a very good feedback from the students during the teaching session. Edmodo app has encouraged students to learn as they are interested in learning using this method , style and use of multimedia technology-based education. The feedback also showed that application of Edmodo has been able to improve their knowledge through induction set, read the notes using the web, Blind Spaces application and through interactive activities generated. These findings has provide new ideas in the process of teaching moral education in school pedagogy and also support the transformation of education in line with Malaysian Education Blueprint (PPPM 2013(PPPM -2025 which is to make technology as a medium of teaching styles.
Digital innovation in the education field is a necessity nowadays to face the challenges of theera of Industrial Revolution 5.0. With the threat of the Covid-19 pandemic, digital innovationis also seen as a driver to learning reform in new norms that make information technology anempowermentmediumforeducational institutionsaround the world. TeacherEducationInstitute of Malaysia (IPGM) is also optimistic about cultivating digital innovation amonglecturers to form a circle of educational enablers who are capable of implementing digitalinnovation for the exposure of prospective teachers (students). Thus, this survey study wasconducted toidentify the aspirations of IPGM lecturers to enhance their capabilities inimplementing digital innovation. Subjective items for open-ended questions were preparedusing Google Forms. The findings of this study showed that some of the IPG lecturers’aspirationsinenhancingtheircapabilitiesinthedigitalinnovationfieldincludedtheiraspirationsforinnovation,training,fundingassistance,infrastructureassistanceandcommercializationassistance.Keywords:DigitalInnovation,Aspiration,IPGLecturers
