Cleanliness of the reproductive organs during menstruation is very important, because if this is not done an infection can arise in the area. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of education about vaginal hygiene to increase knowledge of female adolescents about vaginal hygiene during menstruation. Cross-sectional was used as the design of this study. Respondents involved in this study were 30 female adolescents who were selected by simple random sampling technique. Data was collected by filling out a questionnaire, then analyzed using the marginal homogeneity test. The p value of the statistical analysis was 0.000, meaning that there was a difference in the level of knowledge between before and after education. It was concluded that education about vaginal hygiene was effective in increasing young female adolescents's knowledge about vaginal hygiene during menstruation.Keywords: menstruation; vaginal hygiene; female adolescents ABSTRAK Kebersihan organ reproduksi saat menstruasi sangat penting dilakukan, karena jika tidak dilakukan dapat timbul infeksi pada area tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk efektifitas edukasi tentang vaginal hygiene untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja putri tentang vaginal hygiene pada saat menstruasi. Cross-sectional digunakan sebagai desain penelitian ini. Responden yang dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini adalah 3o remaja putri yang diplih dengan teknik simple random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui pengisian kuesioner, lalu dianalisis menggunakan uji homogenitas marginal. Nilai p dari analisis statistik adalah 0,000, artinya ada perbedaan tingkat pengetahuan antara sebelum dan sesudah edukasi. Disimpulkan bahwa edukasi tentang vaginal hygiene efektif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja putri tentang vaginal hygiene pada saat menstruasi.Kata kunci: menstruasi; vaginal hygiene; remaja putri
