SUMMARY
BackgroundCurrently, no single serum biomarker can reliably differentiate irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) from other functional gastrointestinal disorders or organic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.
This paper presents an automated method for derivation of capacity curve from measured structural acceleration response. Based on the decomposition by wavelet transform method, the structural behavior is directly evaluated in the form of a capacity curve of the predominant response, as a relationship between the spectral force and spectral displacement. It enables the user to judge the performance of the building quickly after an earthquake. The feasibility of the proposed method is demonstrated through numerical simulations, full-scale shaking-table tests, and actual response of a steel tower during 2016 Fukushima earthquake.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
