Kontribusi produksi tuna madidihang (Thunnus albacares) sebesar 14.539,5 ton (59,9%), tuna mata besar (Thunnus obesus) sebesar 6.242,1 ton (25,7%), dan tuna tongkol abu-abu (Thunnus tonggol) sebesar 3.477,6 ton (14,3%).
Crop water requirement is an important factor to increase water use efficiency and avoid crop failure in dryland. A way to increase water use efficiency is by determining an irrigation interval scenario and utilizing a planting hole system. Research on the analysis of water requirement in the planting hole system with an irrigation interval for maize is still limited. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the level of water requirement for maize in dryland. This research was conducted in Camplong Village, Kupang District, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) from January-May 2020. The design used was a split-plot of various treatments. There were three different techniques of applying fertilizer as the main plot, and two treatments of pruning maize leaves as sub-plots. The different treatments of fertilizer application includes: 1) mixing manure with rice husk charcoal (Ls+As), 2) separating manure from rice husk charcoal (Ls/As), 3) no addition of manure or rice husk charcoal into the planting hole (control). The sub-plots were divided into 2 treatments namely with leaf pruning (P) and without leaf pruning (TP). The water requirement was analyzed based on the FAO 56 approach with the production calculation in weight unit of tiles (ubinan). The results showed that 75% water efficiency was achieved or there was a water saving of 3,119 m3/ha/planting season when compared to conventional techniques. The highest maize productivity (7 tons/ha) was attained in treatment of mixing manure with rice husk charcoal with leaf pruning. The result indicated that this water savings may be used to expand the planting area to 3 ha.
This study aims to find out how the level of mechanical knowledge, mechanical attitude, and pattern of waste management in two-wheeled motorized vehicle workshops in Mamajang and Bontoala Districts, Makassar City. This study uses descriptive methods with quantitative approaches. To achieve the objectives of the study in addition to observations, questionnaires and tests were given to one of the mechanics in each general workshop of two- wheeled vehicles in Mamajang and Bontoala Sub-Districts, Makassar City. The results of the study based on the analysis showed that the mechanics of two-wheeled motorized vehicle workshops in Mamajang and Bontoala Subdistricts tended to have sufficient knowledge, namely, Mamajang Subdistrict of (64%) and Bontola District of (60%). Then the mechanical attitude tends to be in the moderate category, namely Mamajang Subdistrict at (82.2%) and Bontoala District at (85%). Furthermore, the tendency of the behavior of solid waste management conditions in Mamajang District is; do not do the reduction process of (88%), do not carry out the collection process of (72%), do the sorting process by (60%), and do not carry out the utilization process of (72%). Then in Bontoala Subdistrict tends to; do not do the reduction process of (90%), carry out the collection process of (55%), do not do the sorting process by (70%), and do not carry out the utilization process of (75%). Furthermore, the behavior of liquid waste management in Mamajang and Bontoala Subdistricts for the reduction process was not carried out, all mechanics in Mamajang and Bontoala Subdistricts carried out the collection process, the process of sorting out wastewater in the Mamajang Sub-district tend to be 88% and in Bontoala Subdistrict 70%. Then the utilization process in both Mamajang and Botoala Subdistricts tends not to be done. Meanwhile the process of managing gas waste both in Mamajang District and Bontoala was not carried out.
The declining trend of Yellowfin Tuna Thunnus albacares production in Fishery Management Territory of Indonesia 714 nowadays will affect the demand for tuna products in Indonesia and global. Regarding the management purposes, the impact of fishing needs to be minimized. Therefore, the estimation of population structure based on the length and age is very important to be studied. The data were collected from November 2015 to October 2016 from longline and handline catching activities operated in the Banda Sea. The average length of yellowfin tuna caught with longline and handline was 98.5 cm and the first length maturity was Lm 103.6 cm. The result showed that the first yellowfin tuna caught was Lc_opt 125.2 cm, where fishing mortality ratio toward natural mortality was at the level that endangered the sustainability of yellowfin tuna fisheries in the Banda Sea. To minimize the impact, there needs to be a minimum size regulation of yellowfin tuna that should be landed
