<p class="E-JOURNALTitleEnglish">Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa kelas I SDN Bajayau Tengah 2 Kecamatan Daha Barat Kabupaten Hulu Sungau Selatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang menggunakan desain model Kemmis & Taggart. Subjek penelitian adalah 18 siswa kelas I SDN Bajayau Tengah 2 tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, tes unjuk kerja. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar pengamatan, soal tes unjuk kerja, dan lembar penilaian membaca. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media <em>flashcard </em>dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca permulaan siswa kelas I SDN Bajayau Tengah 2. Peningkatan keterampilan membaca permulaan dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata sebelum diberi tindakan sebesar 59,7%, yang termasuk dalam kategori cukup; kemudian meningkat pada siklus I menjadi 71,3%, yang termasuk dalam kategori baik; kemudian meningkat lagi pada siklus II menjadi 90,7%, yang termasuk dalam kategori baik sekali.</p> <p class="E-JOURNALAbstrakKeywords"><strong>_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________</strong></p> <p><strong>IMPROVING EARLY READING SKILL THROUGH FLASHCARD MEDIA IN 1<sup>ST</sup>GRADE STUDENTS OF STATE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (SDN) BAJAYAU TENGAH 2<br /></strong></p> <p class="E-JOURNALAbstrakTitle"><em><strong>ABSTRACT</strong></em></p> <p class="E-JOURNALAbstractBody"><em>This study aims to improve the early reading skill of 1st grade students of State Elementary School (SDN) Bajayau Tengah 2, Daha Barat District, Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency. This study was classroom action research using Kemmis & Taggart model design. The subject was 18 1st grade students of SDN Bajayau Tengah 2 in 2013/2014. The data collection technique used was observation, performance test. The instrument used was observation sheets, performance test exercises, and reading assessment sheets. The data were analyzed using the descriptive technique. The result shows that flashcard media could improve the early reading skill of 1st grade students of SDN Bajayau Tengah 2. The improvement of the early reading skill could refer to the value evarage before the action was 59.7%, which is a fair category; then it increase to 71.3% in the first cycle, which is in a good category; then it increase to 90.7% in second cycle, which is in an excellent</em> category.</p> <strong>Keywords</strong>: early reading skill, flashcard media<br />
<p class="Standard">Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk media pembelajaran berupa media komik pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar bahasa Indonesia dan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas IV SD. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan langkah yang dikembangkan oleh Borg & Gall. Model Pengembangan tersebut dikelompokan menjadi: (1) melakukan penelitian pendahuluan dan pengumpulan informasi, (2) melakukan perencanaan, (3) mengembangkan produk awal, (4) melakukan uji coba lapangan awal, (5) melakukan revisi produk awal untuk menyusun produk utama, (6) melakukan uji coba utama, (7) melakukan revisi produk utama untuk menyusun produk operasional, (8) melakukan uji lapangan operasional, (9) melakukan revisi produk akhir, (10) deseminasi. Subjek uji pelaksanaan lapangan pada kelas eksperimen sebanyak 27 siswa dan pada kelas kontrol sebanyak 27 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) media komik pembelajaran layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Menurut ahli materi dan ahli media pembelajaran produk media komik<em> </em>berkategori “baik”. (2) terdapat peningkatan nilai pretest terhadap posttest motivasi belajar bahasa Indonesia dan keterampilan membaca pemahaman antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Keseluruhan uji dan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa media komik pembelajaran berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar bahasa Indonesia dan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa.</p><p class="Standard"><strong>Kata Kunci: </strong> media komik pembelajaran, motivasi belajar bahasa Indonesia, keterampilan membaca pemahaman</p><p class="Standard"><strong><em> </em></strong></p><p class="Standard" align="center"><strong><em>DEVELOPING COMIC BOOKS FOR STUDYING TO INCREASE MOTIVATION TO LEARN AND READING COMPREHENSION FOR THE FOURTH GRADE STUDENTS OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL</em></strong></p><p class="Standard"> </p><p class="Standard" align="center"><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong></p><p class="Standard"><em>This research aims to : develop an comic books that is eligible for the fourth grade students of elementary school, (2) reveal the effectiveness of the developed comic books toward enchancement of student motivation to learn, and enchancement of student reading comprehension. This developmental research refers to the model from Borg & Gall, consist of (1) research & information collecting, (2) planning, (3) develop preliminary form of product, (4) preliminary field testing, (5) main product revision, (6) main field testing, (7) operational product revision, (8) operational field revision, (9) final product revision, (10) dissemination and implementation. The subject of the operational field testing consists of 27 as the experimental class and 27 students as the control class. The research finding reveals that the comic books is proper for the fourth grade students of elementary school.(1) According to the expert of the material and the expert of the educational media, the comic books product is categorized into “good”. (2) There is an increase in the pretest to posttest at control class and experimental class of motivation for study after using comic books, and reading comprehension after using comic books for study. Studi ini meneliti dampak Covid-19 terhadap nilai tukar (Indonesia Rupiah terhadap Dollar AS) dan Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan (IHSG) di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan data harian kasus Covid-19, nilai tukar dan periode CSPI dari 2 Maret hingga 30 April 2020. Hasil analisis menunjukkan: (1) peningkatan 1% pada kasus Covid-19 menyebabkan depresiasi sebesar Rupiah terhadap Dollar AS sebesar 0,02%, (2) peningkatan 1% dalam kasus Covid-19, menyebabkan koreksi ke CSPI sebesar 0,03%, (3) peningkatan 1% dari CSPI mengarah ke apresiasi Rupiah terhadap Dollar AS sebesar 0,311% . Dengan demikian, Covid-19 berdampak pada depresiasi Rupiah terhadap Dollar AS, dan berdampak menurun pada CSPI, sehingga diperlukan intervensi kebijakan untuk mengendalikan penyebaran wabah Covid-19, mengendalikan kepanikan agar tidak berdampak pada Rupiah dan pasar saham melalui berbagai kebijakan stimulus.
The early childhood is an important and crucial period for every human. The cognitive of children is well developed towards the stimulation around them. The cognitive development coverage at 5-6 years old children consists of general knowledge and science and also mathematic. Therefore, it is common that when in Kindergarten, children are taught to read, to write, and to count (calistung). There are some enjoyable ways to develop students' ability of recognizing and understanding the concept of numbers, one of them can be conducted by using educative playing tool "snake and ladder". This pre-experimental research design aims to improve the ability of children in 5-6 years old in the understanding of the numerical skill concept through the numerical snake and ladder learning media. The subject of the research was 22 students with the range of age 5-6 years old. Almost all aspects were significantly improved with the average of deviation between pretest and posttest which was more than 5,5. With the pretest score which was almost prevalent (average = 12.25; SD=0.86) and the posttest score which was significantly improved (average=17.9; SD=1.74).
