Critical thinking skills are one of the four skills needed in the 21st century. Critical thinking skills are so important that they need to be taught and included in the school curriculum. This research aims to: (1) describe the critical thinking skills of junior high school students in solving mathematical problems and (2) identify the students' critical thinking components in the analysis, evaluation, inference, explanation, and self-regulation sub-skills. This is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data was collected through a test and interviews, triangulation accomplished by comparing between test and interviews. This research involved 24 subjects comprising 9 male students and 15 female students. The test used in this research consisted of 6 problems representing 6 sub-skills of critical thinking skills. The results of data collection were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The research results showed that:(1) the critical thinking skills of junior high school students were in a low category;(2) the evaluation, analysis, and self-regulation sub-skills became the lowest critical thinking sub-skills mastered by the students compared to other critical thinking sub-skills.
Kemampuan kognitif adalah keterampilan berbasis otak yang diperlukan untuk melakukan tugas apapun dari yang sederhana hingga yang paling kompleks. Struktur kognitif yang ada pada seorang anak sangat cepat, seperti: mereka akan lebih cepat menangkap dan mengingat sesuatu yang nyata baginya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang kemampuan kognitif dalam meningkatkan efektivtas pembelajaran ilmu sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif yang ditujukan pada pembelajaran Ilmu Sosial pada tingkat Sekolah Dasar. Instrumen pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara studi dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik induktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Peaget membagi perkembangan kognitif menjadi empat fase yaitu fase sensorimotor, fase pra-operasional, fase operasi beton, dan fase operasi formal. Strategi untuk setiap fase adalah dengan menggunakan tindakan dan instruksi yang tepat dari guru. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa teori kognitif Piaget telah menyumbangkan tema berkaitan dengan perkembanngan kognitif seseorang dan dapat menjadi acuan dalam meningatkan efektifitas pembelajaran Ilmu Sosial. Peneliti merekomendasikan pada penelitian selanjutnya untuk mengkaji tahap-tahap perkembangan kognitif yang mempengaruhi kegiatan belajar anak di sekolah maupun di rumah.
Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB) merupakan agenda tahunan setiap institusi atau institusi pendidikan dalam rangka menerima siswa baru di lingkungannya. Seringkali instansi atau lembaga tersebut sering mengalami kendala dalam pengelolaan administrasi siswa baru, salah satunya Raudhatul Athfal Sirojul Falah. Permasalahan yang terjadi pada urusan administrasi diantaranya masih seringnya masalah penginputan data siswa baru dan tidak tertata sehingga data tersebut menjadi sulit untuk ditemukan. Maka dengan itu pada penelitian ini akan dibuat sistem informasi PPDB untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Sistem informasi yang akan dibuat berupa desain UML (Unified Modeling Language), ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram) dan LRS (Logical Record Structure) serta website dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP, framework codeigniter dan bootstrap library. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah dibangunnya sistem informasi PPDB di RA Sirojul Falah berupa website menggunakan metode spiral dengan harapan dapat membantu panitia PPDB RA Sirojul Falah dalam mengelola data mahasiswa baru secara efektif dan efisien.
Muslims are taught to eat clean and safe food. Islam is very concerned about the source and cleanliness of food, how to cook, how to serve, how to eat to how to dispose of leftovers. The concept of Islam in food is actually the same as the concept of Islam in other respects, namely the concept that maintains the safety of the soul, body, and mind. Halal food is allowed because it benefits the mind and body. Conversely, bad food is not allowed because it will damage the mind and body. The research method used was descriptive qualitative research methods. Data obtained from a variety of literature that discusses The Effects of Haram Food on Human Emotional and Spiritual Intelligence Levels, both in the form of books and journals. Data collection techniques by means of literature study, data analysis needed in library studies obtained from a number of references in the form of books, journals, encyclopedias, documents and others that are considered to have a relationship and can support the solution of existing problems.Data was analyzed by using qualitative data analysis techniques. Halal food and haram both have a big influence on someone's life, both influential for morals, peace of mind, and fulfillment of prayer. People who always fill themselves with halal food, then the morals will be good, his heart will be calm and his prayers will be answered. Conversely, people who fill themselves with haram food will be bad in character, their hearts will be sick, and their prayers will not answered.
Abstract. Islamic education is tasked with guiding and directing the development of students from one stage to another until it reaches optimal levels. Islamic education aims to create a perfect human (al-insanul kamil) and a good human being (al-insan al-shalih). Other tasks are in accordance with the vision and mission of the Prophet, namely perfecting human morals. A good education is certainly well managed. Therefore it is necessary to manage according to Islamic teachings. By using a qualitative descriptive research method, this study will try to dig deeper into the extent to which the achievement of education management standards in accordance with Islamic teachings and solutions to solve problems faced. The management of education in achieving the goals of Islamic education is education that is capable of making people who are faithful and devout, educating pious individuals by paying attention to spiritual, emotional, social, intellectual, physical development, educating members of pious social groups, both in the Muslim family and community.
