Barley (Hordeum vulgare L.). Sprouting has been used to improve the nutritional value of grains. The main objective of this study was to analyze the Physical analysis (pH, Acidity, TSS, Sensory Attributes, Color, Flavor, Taste) analysis of Lemon Barley RTD. Fine powder of barley Haider-93 utilized with combination of Sprouted barley powder to develop Lemon (RTD).Sensory evaluation of product was done on nine point hedonic scales. The product was packed in PET bottles and was evaluated for 90 days storage. Data was evaluated statistically and were interpreted.
Boron Oxide (B2O3) was doped in fused silica using slip casting technique. Effects of addition of B2O3 on mechanical as well as dielectric properties along with microstructure were studied. It was observed that B2O3 acts as devitrification inhibitor by reducing the formation of cristobalite content during sintering of fused silica. Mechanical properties were improved by addition of B2O3. Density and flexural strength with (3% by weight) addition of B2O3 was 1.89 g/cc and 52MPa respectively.
Pb (Zr0.35Ti0.65)1-xSnxO3 (PZST) piezoelectric ceramics with ABO3 perovskite structure were synthesized using Solid state reaction technique. The piezoelectric, ferroelectric and dielectric behavior of PZST piezoceramics was studied systematically by varying the amount of Sn at fixed Zr/Ti ratio. It was found that sample containing Sn= 0.26 exhibit maximum piezoelectric coefficient of 324 pC/N and minimum tangent loss of 0.009. Decrease in tetragonality and Curie Temperature (Tc) was observed with the increase of Sn content. The polarization–electric field hysteresis loops for all compositions were studied and it was observed that the sample containing Sn= 0.26 exhibit maximum polarization of 0.3C/m2. The synthesized PZST compositions can be utilized for Pressure sensors and maritime SONAR applications. Keywords: Piezoelectric, PZST ceramics, ferroelectric, Domains
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
