Generator listrik adalah salah suatu mesin bantu diatas kapal yang menghasilkan energy listrik dengan mengubah energy mekanik menjadi energy listrik. Menurunnya kinerja pada diesel generator listrik dapat menghambat pengoperasian kapal bahkan bisa terjadinya blackout. Tujuan penulis mengambil judul ini adalah mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang menyebabkan menurunnya kinerja diesel generator listrik dan usaha apa yang harus dilakukan untuk mencegah menurunnya kinerja generator listrik. Penulis melaksanakan penelitian ini pada saat praktek laut diatas kapal MT.FORTUNE GLORY XLI selama 12 bulan. Sumber data diperoleh melalui penelitian yang dilakukan secara langsung dengan menggunakan metode observasi, dengan mengadakan peninjauan langsung pada objek yang diteliti. Berdasarkan pada masalah pokok yang ditemukan dalam penulisan ini diperoleh hasil bahwa penyebab menurunnya kinerja diesel generator listrik di Kapal MT.FORTUNE GLORY XLI karena adanya gangguan mesin penggerak generator dan gangguan mekanis pada generator yang mengakibatkan terjadinya kerusakan yang diakibatkan kurangnya perawatan pada komponen yang ada pada diesel generator. Untuk mengatasi gangguan tersebut diadakan perbaikan dengan dilakukan penggantian komponen yang rusak agar diesel generator dapat berjalan dengan normal.

Voltage instability in a synchronous generator can lead to system instability, affecting the quality and ability to transfer power to consumers. The worst-case scenario is load- shedding. To prevent this, the Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) is used to control the voltage stability of the synchronous generator. However, the AVR is often damaged, which prompted us to investigate its role in stabilizing the output voltage of the synchronous generator. This study was conducted on the Sultan Hasanuddin Training Ship owned by the Marine Science Polytechnic (PIP) Makassar using experimental research methods. Data collection techniques included observation, measurement, and documentation, and quantitative descriptive methods were used for analysis. Results indicated that the role of the AVR on the Sultan Hasanuddin Training Ship was insignificant since changes in generator load did not result in high fluctuations. The excitation current on the voltage amplifier or the output voltage of the synchronous generator remained within the working limit. This was proven by the generator's rotation speed, which ranged from 1470 to 1500 rpm, and a generator load of 36 to 38 kW.

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisa konsep Wilayatul Faqih yang diimplementasikan oleh negara Iran sebagai sistem politik dan ketatanegaraannya. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian kepustakaan. Hasil pembahasan menyimpulkan bahwa munculnya Pertama, sistem Wilayatul Faqih disebabkan masyarakat Iran yang bercita-cita akan kepimipinan Imamah dan melepaskan diri dari sistem pemerintahan sekuler pada masa Pahlevi. Kedua, sistem Wilayatul Faqih meletakkan otoritas hukum tertinggi pada wali faqih atau ulama yang berperan sebagai pengatur segala arah kebijakan di Iran. Ketiga, meskipun wilayatul faqih berbasis theologi politik syiah, namun tetap memakai sistem demokrasi yaitu pemilihan lansung oleh rakyat.
