The aim of the study is to reveal the problems of the primary school teacher who applied 2018 Turkish Curriculum in their literacy education and their solution suggestions for these problems. Qualitative research method was used in the research. The study group consisted of 20 first grade teachers working in the city center of Uşak in 2018-2019 academic year. The data were collected by using semistructured interview technique. The problems experienced by the teachers were determined according to the preparation of literacy education, making the sound intuitively, creating the syllable, Word period, creating text and transition to free reading. The problems experienced in these periods in accordance with the collected data; problems arising from the student, problems arising from the curriculum, problems arising from the parent and problems arising from teacher. The solution suggestions of teachers about the problems they face are presented under the code of teachers' suggestions.
