The training use straight line target on the wall as media, as an effort to improve the ability to pass down a volleyball. The purpose of this study is to know the effects of low-passing training use straight line on the wall target as media and to discern the differences between using media and conventional. This study use quantitative methode with two groups pretest and post test design. The study's data using precision measurement of passing below the volleyball and analyzed with t-test combination (SPSS version 25). Based on analysis of the sig value test experiment group 0.00 <.05, there is influence training bottom using straight line target on the wall. As for the control group 0,000 <.05, then there is the effects of training conventional based on independent analysis of sample t specimen t. t. value test of 0.00.05, there is an average difference in test results and measurements in the experiment group with the control group. The result shows that groups with an excellent 50%, good 50%, medium 0%, less 0%, poor 0%, while the control group is once excellent 0%, good 60%, medium 40%, less 40%, and poor 0%. It was concluded that the training of experimental groups had a greater impact than the control group.
Covid-19 pandemic had an effect on students tegarding changes in sedentary lifestyle during studying at home, coupled with advances in technology which has caused student to prefer games that less phsycal activity, this is feared to still be a habit for students, after covid-19 pandemic. Studying at school that has been proclaimed by Surabaya government, causing a decrease an increased risk of obesity in student. Therefore this study aims to provide an overview the physical activity level and nutritional status of elementary school in Surabaya. this study were examining nutritional status through Body Mass Index and physical activity level using (IPAQ) for student in three elementary schools in Surabaya. the average nutritional status of student based on BMI/age is 19,5±4,02, 1,02% severely thinnes, 21,94% thinnes 56,63% normal, 16,83% overweight and 3,57% obese, the average level of physical activity is 1037±851 MET-min/week, 46,42% low, 40,81% moderate, 12,75% high. This shows that elementary school student in Surabaya have good nutritional status but have a level activity that tends to be less.
The maximum strength of the hand-squeeze muscles will give the grip strength when making the punch. With good hand-wringing muscle strength, it can increase the power of the punch which affects accuracy. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of hand-squeezing muscles on blows in badminton. With a large hand-squeeze muscle strength, it can increase the strength of the hand swing which can affect the outcome of the hit. This study uses a quantitative research approach with descriptive analysis research type. This research approach is to collect data in the form of numbers. The method used is descriptive analysis. The research subjects were members of the student activity unit (ukm) badminton at the PGRI Adi Buana University Surabaya, which amounted to 20 members. The data collection method in this study was to measure the strength of the hand-squeeze muscles using a dynamometer handgrip measuring instrument. Based on the results of descriptive analysis using SPSS 20, it shows that the average hand-squeeze muscle strength of male members is 44.85, which is included in the "medium" category. Then for the hand-squeezing muscle strength of the average woman is 27.20 which is included in the "medium" category. From these results, it can be seen that the strength of the hand-squeezing muscles in the badminton student activity unit (ukm) of the Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya is in the "medium" category.
In development and advanced country the expectation age have been increased. This increased connected with the big decreased in prevalence of the cardiovascular disease and stroke. In elderly in which the physical fitness have been decreased, training with low intensity ( for example 40% of maximal heart rate ) will be more safe and can increased the physical and mental fitness that can make them not depend to another people. In elderly the decline of body function 50% was caused by the sedentary life. The consequency of immobilization influenced body systems such as cardiovascular, respiration, body composition and musculoskeletal, nervous system and also the senses and intellectual. Training indirectly can make elder have social interaction, feeling well and increased sleeping quality. Directly training can increased the body function, prevent and cure some diseases.
