The study aimed to investigate of mycotoxin (Fuminocin B1) in blood samples of patients suffers from liver cancer. Therefore 100 blood samples were collected randomly from patients in Al-diwanyia teaching hospitals, then detection of toxin by ELIZA method. The results showed 54 (54%) of patients were had Fumonicin in their blood in different concentrations varying from (2.801 to 10.041) ng/ml and these concentrations were high in patients aged from (61-70) years.
The purpose of this study is to investigate mycotoxin (Aflatoxin B1) in high school student blood samples. Thus, 350 blood samples were collected randomly from students in various schools in Al-diwanyia city, and then toxin was detected using ELIZA method. The results showed 287 ( 82% ) of student were had aflatoxin in their blood in a different concentration varying from 2.301 to 3.245 ng/ml and these concentrations were high (2.610 to 3.245) n/L in male rather than female (2.301 to 2.541) ng/L. Intrahepatic AFTs-B1 is activated by the enzymes p450 hemogenic protein, which is reborn into AFTs-B1-8, 9 epoxide, which is responsible for the effects of cancer within the secreted organ. Based on the fact that AFB1 recorded the most important effects of strong malignant tumor disease in both humans and animals, and thanks to the acute problems related to the contamination of AF More attention has been paid to food and feed and its negative impact on public and economic health compared to various fungal toxins. Because absolute safety is incredibly difficult to achieve, many developing countries have tried to reduce aflatoxin toxicity under the rules that management exposure prohibits the limits of such toxins in food and feed. This research was therefore designed to determine the levels of aflatoxin B1 in secondary school students ' blood samples.
Aims: In human Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) consider one of the most common bacterial infections, the purpose of this research was to assess the association between Interleukin-6 (IL-6), Interleukin-8 (IL-8) and Tumor Necrosis Factor-alpha (TNF-α) level in P. mirabilis UTI cases. Methodology: 160 samples of urine and blood were gotten from persons Suffer UTI, their age reached to (10-60) years, in addition to 100 samples of urine and blood from Healthy persons as a control group. All urine samples were inoculated by sterile loop immediately on blood agar plate and MacConkey agar plate and incubated aerobically at 37°C for 24 hr. Colony Forming Units (CFUs) method was used for growing single and pure bacterial colonies for target bacteria. Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) kit was used for detection level of human cytokines (IL-6, IL-8 and TNF-α) in inpatient and control groups. Results: The result showed that 62.5% of samples were positive for P. mirabilis. The level of IL-6, IL-8 and TNF-α considerably were high inpatient which reached to (312.189±0.916, 272.417±8.699 and 93.908±0.912)respectively, compared with control group (75.416±0.721, 77.978±0.932 and 51.777±0.556) respectively. There were important connotations between age, gender and placement and P. mirabilis infection. Conclusion: Target cytokines piece a critical role in UTI especially in acute phase. Also, there were substantial variances in age group, gender, and residency regarding infected with P. mirabilis and there are important relationships between IL-6, IL-8 and TNF-α in the patients infected with P. mirabilis.
Our study which conducted from 1/9/ 2019-1/9/2020, was including examination of 150 female bird(75-local chickens,75-domestic pigeon), the results were showed the total percentage of infestation 60%(90/150),in local chicken was65.333 % (49/75) while in pigeon was54.666%(41/75), also was diagnosed: Dermacentor variabilis and Argus persicus in ratios(25.333%)(19/75),(40%)(30/75) respectively in local chickens, 44%(33/75),10.666 %(8/75) respectively in pigeon, also noticed that was a significant decrease in the concentration of Hemoglobin, the blood packed cells volume, red blood cells, Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin, while there was increase in number white blood cells in tick-infected avian compared with Non-infected(control group), while the data of biochemical parameters of the serum, showed there were increased levels of total protein and albumin ,while decreased levels of globulin, glucose as well as cholesterol in infected avian.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
