The objective of this study is to evaluate the perception of education professionals, before and after the application of theoretical and practical training based on active methodologies, on safety and prevention against fire and evacuation in disaster situations. The research method adopted is an action research, as it involves diagnosis, planning, action and evaluation to identify the perception of fire protection education professionals. The population consists of 29 education professionals and 75 students, aged between 4 and 5 years, from a private school in the city of Itabira-MG. The structured questionnaire technique is used for teachers and employees, applied before the project to measure the interviewees 'prior knowledge and after the project, to evaluate the effectiveness of the applied training, the teachers' perception of their and children's learning and the need for the topic to be an issue that the school community should constantly address as an important issue in the school calendar schedule. The results indicate that it is necessary to adopt safety training in schools and to keep this training constant. It is concluded that if teachers and school staff undergo regular training they will be able to act consciously, with students, in an emergency. That it is important to use scientific methods so that a broad and effective learning occurs and it is necessary to adopt the theme in the syllabus of schools.
<p>O presente trabalho relata a experiência vivenciada através do projeto de extensão intitulado “Preparando para o ENEM”, desenvolvido no Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia da Paraíba – Campus Cajazeiras. O referido projeto teve como objetivo principal subsidiar a aprendizagem de estudantes concluintes e egressos do Ensino Médio de escolas públicas do município de Cajazeiras e região que se submeteriam ao Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio (ENEM), em 2015. A iniciativa extensionista focava especialmente no campo das Ciências Exatas, com ênfase no aprimoramento de conceitos específicos frequentes no Exame nas áreas de Matemática e Ciências da Natureza e suas Tecnologias; e consistia na realização de aulas de revisão e técnicas de resolução de questões, atividades práticas em laboratório e “aulões” multidisciplinares abertos a toda comunidade. A equipe responsável pelo projeto era composta por alunos do Curso de Engenharia Civil, do Curso Técnico Integrado ao ensino médio em edificações e de professores de Matemática, Física, Geografia, Português e Redação.</p>

In recent decades, issues related to Social and Environmental Responsibility and sustainable growth in organizations have been constantly debated by society. This study aimed to identify the main social and environmental projects in a cosmetics industry, as well as to understand the perception of local residents and beneficiaries regarding the actions developed by the company. The relevance of the research lies in the fact that social and environmental responsibility is a matter of interest to various publics involved with organizations, whether employees, customers, suppliers, managers or local society. To carry out the study were conducted bibliographic searches in books and articles on the subject, as well as a case study in a cosmetics industry in the interior of Minas Gerais, with interviews with the manager of the company and the application of a questionnaire with residents of the city where the cosmetics industry is located. Through these researches it was possible to understand that the preservation of the institution's profit is directly related to the sustainability investments presented by the company. In addition, it was possible to understand the perception of the local community regarding the social and environmental projects implemented by the organization.
Com o objetivo de conciliar o progresso do setor construtivo com a preservação do meio ambiente, têm-se desenvolvido estudos a fim de minimizar os impactos ambientais causados pela indústria da construção. Assim, o estudo da produção de materiais alternativos constitui-se em uma vertente promissora nesse sentido. Entre os materiais cujas pesquisas tem sido desenvolvidas, encontra-se a argamassa, material amplamente utilizado durante processo construtivo, sendo composto, de forma geral, por aglomerante, agregado miúdo e água. Diante disso, o presente trabalho teve como objetivo seguir a linha de pensamento supracitada, produzindo argamassa alternativa incorporada com resíduo de scheelita, em substituição parcial ao agregado miúdo natural, verificando o seu desempenho através da análise da resistência à compressão simples e da absorção de água. Para tanto, realizou-se a caracterização física dos materiais e em seguida, a dosagem e moldagem dos corpos de prova. Foram moldados 5 corpos de prova para cada composição do traço 1:3 (em volume) e para cada idade de cura (7, 14 e 28 dias). Após a cura dos corpos de prova, realizou-se o ensaio de resistência à compressão simples e absorção de água, para a análise do desempenho da argamassa alternativa. Verificou-se que aos 28 dias as duas composições estudadas (30% e 50%) apresentaram resistências próximas à argamassa de referência e valores de absorção de água um pouco superiores que a mesma. Diante dos resultados obtidos, concluiu-se que há viabilidade de incorporação do resíduo de scheelita na argamassa, o que reflete em uma promissora contribuição para a indústria da construção, dos materiais e para a preservação do meio ambiente.
