This paper focuses on identifying the non-linear relationship between the voltage harmonic distortion and the percentage load of the most commonly used harmonic producing devices. The voltage harmonic distortion tsctor is calculated at each bus of a simulated distribution network under different loading conditions of each harmonic producing device. Then, Merent analytical models are used to find out the important features of the relationship between 4he voltage THD and the percentage load of the harmonic producing devices. Finally, this relationship is identified and p r t sented in its analytical form. The sensitivity of voltage harmonic distortion to the load of the harmonic devices is also discussed.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
