Case Report Abstract: We report the case of a 63-year-old female patient with a 5-year history of progressive paraparesis with sensory disturbances. Since 2 years, she also complained of remitting painful sensations and motor weakness of the left ama, mainly in the ulnaric nerve region. A plain X-ray of the chest revealed a mass in the left upper thoracic aperture. CT and MRT showed an extension of the mass into the intraspinal cavity. A neurosurgic operation was performed immediately, suspecting a Pancoast tumor invading the intraspinal canal. Intraoperative histology revealed the diagnosis of an extradural meningioma. The tumor has been resected completely. Key Words: Extradural/epidural spinal meningioma -tntrathoracic mass ~Institut fª Anatomie Lehrstuhl II und 2Abteilung fª Neuroradiologie
